The people who born in my generation will know her as a goddess from south korean. They called her korean Queen in our generation. They compared her with Ayupan (Ayumi hamazaki) Hitada (hikaru utada) who are the Japanese Goddess from Japan. Yasss... im so proud growing up listening they're song. *And christina Aguilera, and Britney, and ofc avril*

She was only 16 when this song came out. No group to hide behind, just her in the spotlight. She was a soloist and center stage from the age of 13. Not many kpop artists can survive the pressures of super stardom at such a young age. She should have all our respect, especially while releasing one of the most well known kpop songs of all time, well before she was even an adult.

뉴진스의 일본 데뷔 싱글 Supernatural은 이 뮤직비디오 옥상 공연 장면에 대한 오마주였군요.... 보아가 없었다면 동방신기도 빅뱅도 없었다고 얼마전 대성과 준수군이 마주 앉아 이야기 하더군요. K팝가수의 일본 진출의 길을 닦은 선배에 대한 리스펙 멋지네요.

I didn't know how old she was when I heard this song back then. This song was released when she was about 15 years old. This song is not easy to dance and sing, and she sings the whole song alone. I think K-pop fans nowadays never truly know how hard it was for her.

For real. Even the "dancing while singing live" was invented by her. In one interview show with Lee Dong Wook, she said back then lipsync in S.Korea was common meanwhile in Japan lipsync wasn't accepted. She debuted in Japan without preparation and got "slapped" really hard after her debut showcase. Then she went to U.S and got proper training.

2025 the song never gets old. The dance is still fresh and cool. BoA is a legendary artist in Korea music. Only BoA achieves that big. Before BoA, people only listen to Jpop, Europe pop, Canto pop, etc. People know little about Korea too. Her music also continuously bridges together world music and kpop. I never thought it would happen but she succeeded.

I just watched the cover and it really wasn't that great. I'm sure she was nervous to be singing BoA's song and that must have contributed to it, but her voice wasn't very strong and she didn't have much of a range. However, I did watch her sing at the beginning of someone's performance on Immortal Songs and it was beautiful. I'm pretty sure she was singing in French.

Mungkin emang kurang pas kalo ditulis kesini karena siapa siapa. Tapi g sepenuhnya salah. Jaman boa ini internet blm seheboh skg. Jd akses kpop blm serame ini. Pastinya msh banyak yg blm tau si legenda boa ini. Dg di cover artis2 baru dan mungkin dirasa enak didenger kan jadi pengen tau penyanyi aslinya. Datanglah kesini dan akhirnya tau. Mungkin yg langsung suka akan cari lagu2 boa yg lain.Promosi itu macam2 caranya.. dipromosikan oleh penyanyi lain itu bagus juga kan? Kalo view makin banyak juga kasih keuntungan buat penyanyinya jadi kan gak buruk buruk amat. Cuman mungkin bagusnya gak usah ditulis aja karena a b c nya.. semakin boa dikenal semakin dia melegenda :)

2002년도에 스탭 알바를 해서 방송국에서 직접 보아를 본적이 있었다. No1을 부르던 보아는 단연 최고!! 당시 16세라고는 믿기지 않을 정도의 춤실력과 가창력을 직관 하면서 연습량이 어마어마 했었겠다는 생각과 막내 여동생 또래인데 너무 프로페셔널해서 조금은 안쓰러움? 도 들었던 기억이 난다.

She has so much stage presence since at 13 debute and even at 16 she captivates the stage. Truly a generational talent. She’s able to do intense choreos too without being boring. New kpop can’t relate
