She was only 16 when this song came out. No group to hide behind, just her in the spotlight. She was a soloist and center stage from the age of 13. Not many kpop artists can survive the pressures of super stardom at such a young age. She should have all our respect, especially while releasing one of the most well known kpop songs of all time, well before she was even an adult.

2025聴きにきました。日本でデビューしてくれて、当時たくさん聴きました。凄い好きでした。歌詞見なくても歌えます。青春だったなーーーー BoAのデビューは衝撃的でした。

Also this song came after her return from Japan where she became number 1, so it's kind of like Korea will always be BoAs number 1 where ever she goes in the world. At least that's what it feels like to me, and this getting number 1 just makes so much sense.

The lyrics is sooooo ... Uhmmm. When the first time i heard this, i dont know the meaning because i was in secondary school. I cried at the last chorus part. Then after seventeen cover this song, it brings back the memories. I still cried eventhough seventeen sing this song. Then i tried to find the english lyrics, after knowing the meaning, my tears did not stop.
