For all the people that doesn't know or understand the political issues that happening between Korea and China, here's a brief explination: So basically, Korea is wanting to build a THAAD system (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense). The Korean government then requested to use Lotte Worlds (Lotte Duty Free etc.) to build this system, and since this IS the Korean government we are talking about, Lotte can't exactly say no. Now the whole issue with China is that there are many Lotte stores inside of China so if Lotte is used by Korea, then it would greatly effect/threaten China so that is why these two countries aren't exactly in the best relationships.

Guys! I know everyone is frustrated because lay is not in this video, but please just let me explain what I understand about this situation. China and Korea is having some problems right now. I don't know what exactly happened but Chinese government actually cancel the visa for their citizens to go to Korea, so even if they're not against Korea or if they want to go there just to travel, it's not possible. That's why lay is keeping it low now and to be honest. SM is just an entertainment company and they cannot do anything about this situation. They might get banned (maybe) if they ask lay to do video etc to celebrate 5th anniversary of exo, as exo is a group started in Korea, that's somehow promoting kpop. And chinese government will not allow that. Even if they won't get banned, imagine how much hate lay and exo will get from those who are not fans. We all don't want that to happen. So all we have to do is wait till the situation cool down and then we can see all 9 of them again, together ❤️ let's believe that even they are not celebrating together, their heart is still together, as exo that we all love.
