Can we just take time to appreciate Chen and Xiumin for a while. Chinese have very difficult pronunciations and a different way of stressing the word can make it mean something completely different. The fact that both xiumin and chen sang chinese is amazing enough. Their pronunciation may not be perfect but its good.

I think you're talking about tones here? Chinese is a tonal language (it has four), so yeah how you stress a work makes it mean something different. However, sung Chinese isn't tonal, that is to say, tones don't matter in song since notes and melodies make it hard to tell how a word is being stressed outside of context. That's why all Chinese language music videos have subtitles.

I miss Chen and Lu Han's vocals together TT I miss those times when EXO K and EXO M promote back and forth and that exciting feeling when they combined as 12. My own opinion: First, Popularity and achievements are from their fans. You streamed their songs multiple times, watched their mvs and buy their albums. Meanwhile, we don't care about any of that. Yes, we do care about our faves achievements and we do try to make them win by voting but not to the point that we're going to waste our time watching the same my for an hour or so. They don't force us too. They remind us that we have a life aside from them. Second, recognition is also based on popularity. My faves get recognised because of their talents. Their vocals, their sense of style, their versatile acting, their dance styles. They have a life beside shitloads of comebacks and our faves can stand alone without the help of their members. For example: EXO Baekhyun could be BYUN BAEKHYUN as a soloist, as an actor, a luxury brand ambassador. And I'm proud to say that this is what EXO taught us. We didn't have so many views in an my bcs they always remind us that we should focus on ourselves first or study first than watching their ig lives, them who always tell us to buy foods instead of alburns, and most especially having their own unique talent in their solo activities with us making us all proud as EXO-LS

This is my opinion, but I think mandarin sounds better for ballads, but when it comes to more upbeat, pop songs, the Korean version is better.

+Night Fury Xiumin can belt higher than Chen, but Jongdae has a higher and stronger chest-voice, hence he can sing a bit more powerful than Minseok. Both Xiu and Chen are two of my biases so no hate, I also think Xiumin should have more lines :(

One year ago when i first watch this video and i heard chen's voice, i was totally blown away ! since this day he became my ultimate bias, he's a nice guy and also a handsome man. watching this always get me nostalgic, i remember when i was used to admire him a lot ( and write his name everywhere in my copybooks ). i still support him but the first days when i started to like him were really the best memories. Hope the best for this man !

in recant news kris left because of another reason and the reason was that when he got he movie role in somewhere only we know he thought that he would of been more famous if he did flm in china instead of music and he left becuase of the heart problems as well

Even though they left at different time the content/reason for lawsuit of both kris and Luhan is same i.e 1)discrimination in terms of treatment between Korean and Chinese members 2)health issues due to over-exhaustion in both body and in stress.3)Unable to give good future development plans. Krishan being more popular than rest were offered many projects in China but were all rejected by SM without their consent.Sina reported that Kris was offered 15 films but was all rejected by SM. "As a major Korean entertainment agency, SM took advantage of their prominent position by negotiating an unreasonable and unfair contract with the agency celebrities. Thus, SM received multiple penalties from the Fair Trade Commission Republic of Korea. Luhan and Kris made several requests for the improvement of SM's excessive promotions, health risk, and income distribution, but they were rejected and ignored, leaving them to take legal action," a part of Luhan and Kris's legal team's statement. This honestly proves just how talented each groups are. Lay is an amazing dancer- just like Kai. Luhan and Suho are amazing leads. (Also Xiumin) Tao and Chanyeol (Also Kris) are inspiring rappers. Chen, Baekhyun, and D.O are amazing main vocalist. Each of them fulfill their own role. Each member was always important. Exo will always need 12. Without the missing 2, the 12 forces won't ever reunite.

Everyone here is like “this is so much better than the Korean version, why doesn’t this have more views?!” But I REALLY LOVE them both, and I see no reason to under-appreciate the Korean version to compensate for the (supposed) lack of appreciation for the Mandarin version.
