F(x) is really the only girl group in kpop whose constantly pushing the boundaries with their sound with each comeback. Just like shinee, fx's comebacks are always creative, unique and showcase their vocals and talent every single time. I feel bad for the kpop fans who don't know about fx

Merywaja sadly there are new fans who claim themselves to be kpop fans when they're only really third generation boy group stans. that in itself isn't much of a problem, but when combined with their ignorance in other groups other than the popular ones and the ones that do comebacks often is just sad.

Iluvthings Well, it's sad, but we started like that too, a decade ago i just knew the new ones, the popular ones BEG, SJ, GG, and i didn't know about H.O.T, S.E.S., etc, there weren't so many kpop fans so there was nobody outside Korea saying something like that, kpop wasn't so big and there weren't so many groups, yeah, but we do started like them too xD (facts are facts xD). And i think we have to accept that new kpop fans can be kpopers without knowing all the groups (that's going to be hard... ), they SHOULD know the old popular ones at least (specially if they want to have fun not because they have to know them to call themselves something, kpop is not a university degree or a subject yet (but it would be cool (*v*)) it's entertainment and if you like a few kpop groups, well, you like kpop, congrats! You're a kpoper now!), but if you think about it, there are a lot of groups! XD a new stan has to know this generation and other 3 more! I don't expect that a... What? 13 years old girl? (Yeah, they could be older, but the majority of those you mentioned are teenagers) Is going to be so focused on kpop beyond her new favourite group or the few groups that made her go into kpop, i think we even have to thank if they know all the ones who are making comebacks now xD. Maybe with time, they will want to know more about other generations (let's have faith xD), and there are groups that never become popular so it's difficult to remember them even for me, so knowing all the groups is quite difficult, but even knowing the old popular ones isn't an easy thing for a new stan. And remember that there is going to be a generation/s (1 or 2) that you're going to like the most (in my case the 2nd and the 3rd one). So let's not going to be so hard with them. And think that a lot of kpop fans are going to be young, inmature, ignorants and/or arrogants (really i meant it when i said "let's not be hard with them" xDD i ..just... Shut up! I need to explain something!! I have an excuse! XD) so don't be upset, and just let them be, (and don't waste your time "fighting", it's not worthy and you're not going to convince them), yeah, like you said it's sad, but let's have fun and enjoy by ourselves, if they want to join let's open them the doors and welcome them, if they don't want to join to the dark side where the best cookies are, well, that's their problem, let's not let that affect us... more cookies for us!! \(ÒvÓ)/

They do! They are one of the only few possible kpop groups to break into US markets. They have so much potential. I can already imagine even luna having a successful solo when I think about it. The fact that they gained so much attention without being promoted properly shows a lot. Really.

3 years to have no comeback 7 years to have a fandom name 7 years to have first concert N years to have a lightstick And many more, SM why did you do this? You spent money, time and resources to train them ; only to treat them like they don't exist? f(x) had the potential to go further after viral songs like "Hot Summer" "Electric Shock" and "Red Light" but you did nothing to promote them further. I think I finally figured this Mv out it took me a while (*few years). I always thought that it was “since love is four walls, it can’t have support without each other”. Since the music video kinda shows a butterfly effect. Amber dropped the cup, which causes Krystal to pour tea on the floor, which causes Victoria to slip, which causes Luna to step on the broken shards of the tea cup too.

fx가 edm을 활용을 많이했는데 이곡은 진짜 퓨처하우스가 나온지 1~2년밖에 안된 상황에서 거의 국내 최초로 퓨처하우스를 선보였죠... 이때까지만 해도 실험정신의 장르라 제대로 정돈되지도 않았던 장르였는데.. 국내에서 이정도 퀄리티 곡이 나온것도 그땐 놀라웠고 (특히 한국 edm pop은 장르 세분화가 안된 짬뽕 트랙이 많았음) 이 이후로 엠버랑 루나도 dj들이랑 활동한것도 몇곡있고... 조금만더 계약 했으면 어땠을까 생각이 듭니다.. 요약- 한국에서 초라한 edm장르를 어느정도 인지도를 올려준 그룹 진짜 클럽음악이 아닌 대중음악으로 선보일수 있다는 가능성을 열어줌

f(x) is really a gold that SM waste. Same as Girls’ Generation, each member successfully makes their name as trademark and star in their own way. Victoria and Krystal as ‘big’ model and actress in China and Korea, Luna and Amber as solo star and variety queen. They have their own ‘fandom’ that can be united as one big MeU. If only SM treat f(x) better - as a group- I think f(x) can be one of best girlgroup, until now. Distinctive concept, high quality music taste, Krystal as ace, vocal powerhouse by one of best vocalist from 2nd generation-Luna, and I think MeU is still alive and big enough even until now. Shame on you, SM.

It's 2024 now, and Kpop has a lot of groups of 4th-5th generation mostly debuts with the Y2K concept, vaccuous lyrics... but no one can defeat the unique concept of f(x). Tbh, I'm not a MeU; I've just been a K-pop fan since 2012, and some of f(x)'s songs are included in my own playlist, but every time I listen to this "4 Walls", I feel nostalgic and miss f(x) so much :( I believe that Kpop must have an unique group like f(x)

kpop’s trendsetters - f(x) it sucks to be a fan after your disbandment. you’re the most unique k-pop group i’ve stumbled upon, from the concept to the music. the members have great visuals and talents. how did sm waste these girls without feeling regretful?

i don’t think sm wasted them, i think they were just unlucky. victoria was stuck in china because of politics conflict with korea and then luna solo debut wasnt reallt successful and they just couldn’t come back together because they were so busy

@@edenpffen that was in 2016. how about the 7 years before that? f(x) was mistreated their whole career. 6 albums in 10 years, no lightstick, their fandom name was provided and their first and only concert tour commenced after their last comeback which is roughly seven years after their debut.

쉽게 이야기해서 fx 는 앞으로도 절대로 나올수없을만큼 유니크하고 대단했던 그룹이었음 아이돌로 치부할수없을만큼 곡 하나하나가 해체한지 수년이 지난 지금까지 되새김질하면 할수로 미쳤다고밖에 볼수없습니다 개인적으로 국내음악계에서 전무후무했던 그룹이었다고 생각합니다
