when you think about it this is their first single as "veterans" in the industry; still riding the fame of gee, genie and oh, just got back from promoting gee and genie in japan, just about reached the top of the charts in korea. they didn't need to make a name for themselves anymore bc everyone knew their fucking name by then. which makes sense as to why their next step would be to go international

back then, i know nothing about youtube views. It was just MTV and MYX for me. I would keep waiting for their schedule to air kpop songs and the charts since most of the kpop songs I like are among the top videos. These days when I watch old kpop songs, I realize there are a lot of them that I have never watched on youtube. Oftentimes, I would get teary eyed, I miss the old era so much. There are so many beautiful songs then from different groups and artists. :'(

This song, alongside Genie, is definitely one of my favorites from SNSD ever. I love the musicality, the choreography (especially the 'trouble trouble trouble' part; I love their rotations and transitions, and the arrow dance is ingenious!!!), the outfit, the concept, the class, the elegance, ugghh just everything. It's a really different concept, so different from the ones we always see. It's so sophisticated, and they're not even trying to be. It's just so natural. So awesome. So amazing.

starseer73 yeah I think so too. The group was a blotch right from the start. I watched the show but didn't follow them through to their debut. Lost interest straight after especially when yeunjung became part of the group. No offense but I really hated that girl.

How did I not know Siwon was in this? This pre-dates "Spy" & him just being suave all the time in general like "Devil" & "Black Suit". Although I've loved Girls Generation songs before & have watched some of their vids a lot I've never explored all their vids or music stages, lives, etc. But I think this is the song that's going to turn me into an extreme fan. I just love the sound of it & of course the Bond girl theme to the vid is so cool. Oh, and I have a theory...can you guys help me out? The only members I know on sight so far are Taeyeon & Sunny and I have a theory about Sunny. There's just something about her face that makes me think she has a real bubbly, friendly personality like Frenchie from Grease. For some reason I just think of her whenever I see Sunny. I could be totally wrong on this, faces don't always match up with personality. Afterall, the first time I saw Jae from Day6 I thought "oh, what a delicate angel! The world must hurt that fragile boy!" then I read his twitter and my head popped off its neck.

Hi~ It's always super cute to meet new dedicated fans, so welcome.^^ Sunny... Sunny could definitely be called bubbly; she is legitimately an endorphin-like person, and warm and sunshiny. She's also, though, not uncommonly rather somber; she's a cool, perhaps serious-minded person too. Another similar thing that's fascinating about Sunny is how she draws younger girls to her...apparently she gives off extreme big sister vibes (See: Invincible Youth, and Train to Entertainment) i'd like to encourage you to check out older videos when Sunny was Kpop's Aegyo Queen. Though she gave it up after only about 3 years (With a few months of regretting it and wanting it back lol.) her aegyo was truly POWERFUL and it'll always be fun to watch.^^ A new show with her being her bright Sunny self is Battle Trip with Hyoyeon! No matter what, she's reliable.. super witty and diplomatic and protective.. okay bye

I'm getting this feeling that the "Hoot" concept is about chasing Sherlock Holmes and Siwon is the secret agent to find her. It was a success. And on SHINee's "Clue + Note" concept is the day Onew and the rest are out to find clues of Sherlock's whereabouts, a day before Siwon executed the mission.
