I remember reading through the comments of the Forever Yours MV and saw one that said they were a bit disappointed since Key didn’t come out with a stronger, more “diva-like” song. And it made me upset because Key is so much more than just his “diva” persona a lot of y’all try to fit him into. People only think of Kibum as the comic relief and extra one in SHINee but always ALWAYS fail to forget how big of a heart he has. He’s so incredibly talented and one of the biggest reasons why I was so excited for his debut was because I literally had no clue as to what kind of concept he would go for because he’s just that versatile of an artist. He can literally pull off anything if he wanted to, yet y’all will only accept him when he does something outrageous or bold. It makes me mad too because Kibum has always been someone who is very wary and conscious of what people say about him. He’s not oblivious to the critiques and comments made about him because he actually goes out of his way to keep track of what people are saying. It’s all the more upsetting when it’s his very own “fans” who are expecting him to only behave a certain way. Kibum is NOT just a “diva” and like he said, yeah, he’s funny, but that’s not all there is to him. That’s hardly even scratching the surface. He deserves better and I wish people would see him for who really is.

I could never choose just one side of Key. I like Key himself, who is the whole package of being a hard working person, a very talented artist, a funny guy and a very sweet soul. Am I the only one who wishes they would film an hour of Key working with the choreographer and practicing?? I find such a raw energy and passion in these kinds of sequences and -- unlike the performance -- you get to see how demanding it is. This makes you enjoy the perfection of the actual performance even more. There are some great videos of Taemin working with the choreographer and he ends up drenched in sweat and huffing and puffing like an Olympic athlete. It really is exacting work work WORK to make it look so easy! How I admire Key -- he's such a dynamic dancer and his singing is utterly unique. He can do it all. Plus he's funny :-) with the greatest laugh!
