It's a shame because he is a "senior" who is older (in terms of debut time) than Suju and Bigbang, many of new kpopers don't acknowledge this lovely monster of kpop highnote of his time! I bet all the rookies or even all of his hobaes in SM are afraid in covering this song. This song is so difficult not only just for solois but also even for groups!! The vocal range are crazy!!

ikr...and the new fans of junior groups with not even 10years old groups keep shouting for their fav's solo debut.. i meant i know we want our bias to hv solo debut and there is nothing wrong with voicing out about wanting it but if it's too much it's becomes annoying bcs as we know SM wont just debuting solo from a member with active group(s)...it needs time.they will get it someday just like their senior and Changmin is one of the example.

I’m proud being a TVXQ Stan since 2007,my mother used to like them too and her favorite one was Changmin. Honestly,if she were still alive by this day she would enjoy so much the first real solo of him. Changmin is a LEGEND just like TVXQ is. Edit: Thank you so much for being so kind,I’m born in 2000 and my mom was a 1982. little fun fact: if it wasn’t for Changmin and TVXQ’s debut back in Dec. 2003 you wouldn’t have kpop or the groups you stan.. they literally revived the dead industry and brought back to life! y’all better appreciate and respect. EDIT: since y’all are commenting i don’t wanna reply to each with the same comment so here it is: seo taiji and boys were active 1992-96 and can be considered as the founder of kpop.. 1st gen are idols such as H.O.T, Shinhwa, s.e.s, sech kies... etc when TVXQ debuted at that time the idol industry itself was dying cause the 1st gen idols were declining and solo acts were dominating hence the word “REVIVE” as they started the 2nd gen of idols and ofc their role in spreading kpop all over asia and paving the way to the japanese market with BoA.

your fun fact of the day: did you guys know that after TVXQ’s comeback from the military, their 2017 tour Begin Again in japan became the 1# most attended concert in japan with over 1million attendance! they surpassed even local japanese artist that year! and are the first artist ever to have a 3 days concert at Nissan Stadium with capacity of around 75,000 seat in that tour! and in 2019 TVXQ were 7th most impactful foreign act/entertainer in japan Heisei era. TVXQ was the only korean/asian music act in the top 10!! fyi Heisei era is from (1989~2019) legends!!

They were also the first Korean artists to sell out Tokyo Dome back in the day (when they were still 5 members)! Nowadays its a given that kpop artists will make a Japanese debut but TVXQ and BoA are the ones who first broke into the Japanese market! They live up to their name "Rising Gods of the East" :)
