I love this MV. The absence of performance makes it very cinematic and completely suits the subject matter, the exploration of grief. Reckless and self sabotaging behaviour, isolation, dissociation and the constant fight between wishing to forget and being fearful of forgetting, it’s deep and very real. Beautifully shot and acted, but I never expected anything else. I’m glad Minho was involved in each step including the editing room, you can tell it’s been created with his love for cinema and storytelling. Congratulations Minho, Chase is exactly as you desired. It’s true to who you are as an artist, as a SHINee member and it’s a beautiful gift to SHINee World. With this album, another piece is added to the SHINee Universe: forever moving forward, always remembering what came before and infinitely entwined as 5, with love.

I love how this music video focuses more on story than like I'm putting dance into it. Its great to dance in an mv but its rare to see a singer-actor artist who focuses more on just the cinematography of the MV. Rather than just expecting half the MV to be choreo, there's a story for you to focus on. And it doesn't build up over time like it's own storyline. This MV is it's own individual episode. Other groups focus so much on a storyline they started at debut and it gets hard to keep up with. I appreciate the amount of work Minho puts into a small MV. I feel like I've just watched a K-Drama in the span of 4 minutes. Minho's a great actor, and there's a large amount of emotion put into his work through slight changes in facial expressions. It's not just keeping a straight face throughout the MV and calling it acting

I love how every SHINee solo has its own style and flavor, they're all different but they go so well together. I also love the fact that they all insist and doing what they like and that they take part in the creative process whether it's the concept, songwriting, lyrics, dancing or MV directing ! I think it really shows and it always ends up being high quality, Chase is no exception ! The MV, the song, the vocals and the choreo are all so beautiful ! It really showcases Minho's skills as an actor, a singer, rapper, dancer and even as a movie director ! This was definitely worth the wait !

I've never heard of this kind of vibe and atmospheric song exploring loss and grief this way :') Once beautiful memories can be haunting now because it has become painful to remember. And no matter what we do, we can't get out of it. We squirm our way from this headspace until it, at the very least, feels gradually bearable. I love how it concludes in an open-ended sort of way, as if there's no solid resolution because those feelings will never go away, just that you'll discover several more ways to overcome it when it surfaces again. The reason why I love Shinee's Area, which Minho also worked on with all his heart, is because there's that similar intention of exploring the darker moments of your life that creeps in without notice and that sometimes, we have to go through with it helplessly in order to overcome it somehow. Over and over. It's realistic. This is a realistic song that anyone would find relatable in any shape or form. It's interesting that Minho, being dubbed as "Flaming Charisma," debuts with such a cold yet emotionally-haunting song. We can tell just how he'd not only worked hard on it, but finally showed everyone just how profound he could be. He had written and co-written so many songs in Shinee but it's yet to be recognized by many. Such a multi-talented king, flamers are so proud ✨

A couple years ago, after Key had his solo debut, Minho got a question along the lines of, "When are you releasing a solo album?" Minho's response was that he knew fans were anticipating it, but he had no plans to do so because he felt lacking and he needed to grow a lot before he could. He overcame his insecurities enough to share this with us in December 2022. My pride is overwhelming and I am crying. Not to mention that he sounds great. My boy did it! He did it!!!!
