When talking about rap, I only have a high opinion of Mark and Taeyong. But after listening to "We go up", I realized that other mems, like Jeamin or Jeno, can rap quite well too. I believe that not only me but others can think like that too. Maybe the main reason here is SM. I appreciate the talent of Mark and Taeyong. 위고업은 참 좋은 노래임 몇번 쓰다 만 다이어리같은 내 이십대 조차 청춘이라 정의해주는 것 같아서...십대만을 특정하는 가사인 줄 알았더니 뛸 수만 있다면 다 해당되는 가사였구나 가사의 울림이 남달라

I'm probably over analysing but with marks' impending departure from the dreamies i cant help but see almost symbolic(?) elements in the vid. like at 1:40 Chenle is walking through the room and you can see Mark and Jeno sleeping on the couch, then it cuts to an hourglass that has run out of time and then it cuts back to him looking somber then at 1:43 cuts back to mark sleeping. it also then cuts to him watching Renjun dancing almost as if he's watching over him from a distance. Fast forward to 1:55 and we see the boys in a group huddle which then immediately cuts to a clip of mark facing away but turning back with a smile, they also put a soft glow effect on him which gives it a reminiscent feel, it almost has a bittersweet feel to it (?). Then at 2:13 we cut back to the room Mark was sleeping in earlier. He touches that number 7 which we saw in the Dear Dream vid that had the fullstop between the other numbers. Mark is also the only one awake now and he seems to be wandering the room looking at everything (because it's filled with pics and items of them) as if he's trying to remember it all before he leaves. also not to mention the whole vid itself has elements of all their past mvs in them, for instance, the cg and cute things from chewing gum, the basketball from my first and last, the beach for we young and the car scenes from Go. It's almost as if they are saying this is what we've done/ this is how we started and can go up from here. I'm sad the dreamies will lose their leader. i don't think the group will be the same without Mark being there. He played a huge role in this group, but i guess they have to grow up and carry on so that new dreamies can eventually come through.

It's official: NCT is my favorite group from this generation. No other group in recent years holds a special place like them in my heart.
