저도 이 댓글 달려고 했는데... 코끼리는 등에 다른 생명체를 절대 태우지 않는 본성을 가진 동물이라고 합니다. 그런 코끼리를 어릴 때부터 길들이기 위해 우리 안에 가둬두고 며칠을 때리면서 물한모금 주지 않는다고 해요. 그렇게 하고나면 코끼리는 그 트라우마에 사람 말을 잘 듣게 된다고 합니다. 이는 엄연한 동물 학대입니다.

People in that area have been raising elephants for generations. They use elephants just like you do with horses ,cow etc (and they don’t eat elephants) And it's not a wild elephant It's pet elephants, If what they do is wrong Cowboy shows are wrong too.

Asian elephant reside in south Asia and southeast Asia, from India to Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, south China, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Borneo, Sumatra.

From the past, elephant were trained to work for towing log or heavy materials. Recently log industry are restricted by global conserve policies, some elephants have been leaved in the wild and some still live with human.

Every country that are the elephant's resident would have their own ways to train the elephants. That means each country would have different training course from each other.

Pajaan is a cruel training for elephant that have been used in some country. Pajaan is not Thai language and mostly Thai don't use this way.

Some example is a woman from Chiangmai elephant camp. She fed her elephants and trained with her love, not with cruel force like some other do. She said if you treat them with love, they will give their love back. Elephant is a delicate - hearted animal. If you treat them cruelly, they will revenge you in the future.

Have you ever been to Thailand? If you have been to, you could see Thai are not aggressive people. Elephant training is an Art, just like training dogs, horses, dolphins, or birds. Talent trainers would not use cruelty training, it is wrong way but there might be some people who do opposite way, just like human life still get some false or crime. Let's read my comments above with Hanna Kim and try to understand what are going on from human real life.

Human and correlate animals have many activities to do, such as sporting is apparently an example. Human practice very hard to achieve best result in a competition. America, Europe, or Asia train their horses or dogs very hard to the competitions or to the missions for military purposes.

Everyone are responsible to their works and try not to get the violence. These are the way of life, we can not stop these activities.

Imagine, if we stop these activities or industries, let's the animals be back to the wild, the aftermath is, they would hardly survive, NEW ERA forest is not their home anymore, they would STARVE or SHOT DEAD by hunters. The related people would be unemployed. They would not get any money to earn for their lives. These would be the SOCIAL PROBLEM because nowadays there are too much population in the world. Everyone STRUGGLE to get money or food, except you are a millionaire.
