The song with so many challenging vocal technique yet underappreciated. Wendy eats this song up with her high level of vocal technique. Vocal runs at the end is very difficult, most parts either. Not to mention the harmonisation, seulgi + joy adlibs, irene's whistle notes, and yeri harmonies. I doubt other girl groups can sing this song beautifully like Red Velvet, however, Girls Generation seems also be able to slay this song.

I was actually worried this might sound like bad boy when I heard the title was going to be really bad boy. But hey, this song is unique on its own and I love how RV and SM didn’t use Bad Boy’s popularity to make another song similar to it. I just notice how Red Velvet releases music since they started coming back thrice a year. Peek-a-boo/Bad boy- for International fans (Velvet concept) Red Flavor/Power Up- for Korean fans (Red concept) Rookie/RBB- experimental songs that showcases more of what makes RV unique or different whether it will do well on chart or not or fans will like or not and focuses on their vocals and choreos. Red Velvet being one of the top girl groups is doing well even if they take risk releasing a song not meant for people to like.
