re watched the 2007 Japanese version that i watched long time ago and fell in love with it again! Cant wait to watch this version and see how it compares and how original it is... especially how suli portrays her character! also i must point out the theme song is just awesome^^

I think they will have small parts. Wherein japanese dramas focus on more than just the main characters storylines, Korean dramas don't really go into characters past the mains which would be Sulli Hyun Woo Minho Kwanghee etc. But if they are int'l students...they probably will make a couple of cameos.

Have you seen the japanese version? That girl had zero man in her. Neither did Go Mi Nam in You're Beautiful or Kim Yoon Shik in Sungkyunkwan Scandal. To this day the only Korean drama in which the lead female pulled off disguising as a guy is Coffee Prince. Yoon Eun Hye played well. She had the mannerisms down. The whole point of the love aspect is that the 'inner girl' comes out. That's why they fall in love with her.

It's tricky. The full title of the manga and japanese drama translates to For You in Full Blossom. But they originally promoted the korean version with To the Beautiful You. BUT since Hana Kimi's full japanese title means FYiFB....go with that I guess.

@ 0:38 Is that Min Kyu from Shut Up! Flower Boy Band?? And are they gonna stick to the side characters?? Cuz the thing that made Hana Kimi so good is that it focused on side characters too and the main female lead befriended everyone. And the plot about Nakao and Nanba-senpai really must be kept. And the aura guy Kayashima. Nakatsu was the freakin greatest second lead male ever. Ike Ike Go Go Ore Go Go!
