These kids are such great entertainers. Why do they get better material than Super Junior? This tune is great even without the choreo. Tight harmonies with that Beach Boy like high voice cointerpoint and with such energy---awesome. All that while engaged in a really tasty choreography. That's why I'm proud to be a Shawol....

And to everyone that's getting mad at them for lip sync: They said in an interview before that they absolutely HATE lip sync because they don't like to cheat their fans. Onew even said it makes him uncomfortable. SM just makes their artists dance the 1st week to showcase their choreography. They sing live for the rest of the stages for the battles and awards. So don't be mad! :)

I love watching Taemin blossom. He was the little one with little parts in singing, but the dancing machine. Now he's got more singing parts than even jjong and he's so manly and his moves just ugh. I can't take it

The mics are really just a prop; it's part of the dance as an accessory than a necessity to an actual performance. It might happen where they do have to use real mics (you'll notice how some members from a group may have a handheld mic while others just a headset, it really depends on the music show and stuff), but it'll actually make things harder since they do a lot of tricks with it, right; also, the crystal mics look much nicer for this particular choreo even when performed live!

ALL SM artists sync the week of the comeback so they can focus on the performance. Shine

What it looks like to me is that in editing, SM have put the track over the video and kept the screaming in the original audio to give it that "live" affect. But come on! We all know SHINee can sing and dance!

They are definitely singing during this song, but the background music is also definitely playing very loudly over their mic vocals. If you watch the full showcase, you can tell that their mics are on by the heavy breathing you hear once the music stops. So i wouldn't say they are lip syncing...just singing quietly relative to the music :) But we all know SHINee is more than capable of singing live, so let's just enjoy the performance for now!

this is actually a really challenging choreography, even without the mic stands. the timing of their moves and the formations they have to switch into are definitely more complex than what they've done in the past (probably cause minho's getting more lines? lol) and you can tell they're still learning it, even tho it looks good now. but as we all know shinee's one of the most talented groups out there, so I look forward to their future perfs!

If you check the MR removed version, you'll see they aren't lipsyncing. And even if they were, SHINee fully sang Sherlock and many other hard choreography songs before and earned the chance to be able to once or twice. Most(notice I said most, not all) groups don't even do as much dancing as SHINee and their fans have to defend their lipsyncing with their dancing, but Shawols never had to do so, even though we could have cause, but SHINee can sing and dance with out sacrificing the either.

one thing i like about dream girl's dance is that theres no backup dancers when dancing on stage which makes it easier for me to see all 5 of them :D

I don't think they lip synced. What happens a lot is that an sm group will sing live, then sm puts the recorded version over it when they upload it online :)

Great performance like we all can expect from SHINee, the only thing is that this is playback.. And I know that SHINee is flawless when they sing on stage for real.. so why?

SHINee sing live on MB! MB do not allow lip-sync. Please do not assume they lip-sync in all of the music shows

Lol...awhile back I had a dream one night that I was at a SHINee concert...oh how I wish that dream would actually come true one day! Thanks to Simon and Martina's review of BoA's "Disturbance" I keep calling Taemin...TAEMAN! xD I almost didn't recognize his vocals when he started singing...he has improved and his dancing is very crisp prob why the best dancer in the group (thanks Martina for making me notice things I never realized). I actually like Key with blonde hair he totally rocks it!
