I`ve been reading some of the comments over here (and concerns), the thing is that SHINee is an old kpop group, they`ve been around, seen things, accomplished a lot. They got massive international following when kpop went overseas in 2009/10 (with hits like ring ding dong and lucifer) and their debut was hit as well. They have always been a contemporary band and have tried out new genres, but after "hello" they really stepped out of the typical "kpop genre" box. They are not targeting kpop masses anymore, they are targeting people that are enjoying their music. I dont know how massive is their international following anymore (no one knows the real numbers), but im super glad that they were huge (or atleast exciting, new) "back in the day". Of course as a fan I`ve been concerned over their youtube views, but over the years I`ve realised that it doesn`t matter, not really. There`s always newer and more "exciting" groups coming out, that are targeting teenagers or just masses. And its well known "secret" that people like to switch fandoms, especially international fans (but koreans are doing it too so im not putting them onto pedestal or anything). After "hello" SHINee had a super long hiatus and then they came out with "sherlock" which was super indie and so so different, also they lost a lof of their international following due to the long hiatus, the song not being the usual "mainstream" kpop and new boybands debuting left and right. So to sum this long ass post kinda rant up: SHINee is freakin popular in Japan (they are so big), they are still selling, SM finally gives them opportunities to be more creative and lets them do (kinda) what they want and SHINee cares about that, a lot. They have one of the loyalist korean fandoms (korean shawols are so precious I love them), they are still one of the big kpop groups. So who cares about the youtube views. If you belong to the fandom or just love their music, just support them and enjoy. There`s always newer groups coming out, hit songs, people leaving or joining the fandom- cant really change that. What matters is that they are able to do their thing, enjoy it and be successful while doing their thing. And guys they are still one of the top groups and popular, they are just "old idols" (artists, yes excuse me), not little boys running around (that`s arguable lolol but you get my point). It`s too early to be concerned over their popularity. Being long running successful artists matters more than some views on youtube. And guys if you`re complaining over the views go see/watch/support Taemin in any way if you can (bb is coming baaackkk!!~~). (omg this is like a monologe but SHINee is my band I`ll go over dead bodies if I have to for them).

in my opinion, shinee is the first group to break out into being global worthy in that they were the first ones to transition totally out of that signature kpop vibe that SNSD and SuJu had. They didnt stick to that pop feel of the pre mamacita and i got a boy kpop. they're the most well-rounded group even when matched with the current groups. they're so versatile and could perform anything the company put them up to. I believe that they were the ones that paved way for the current halyu wave to make it big worldwide. it's just too bad that they're underrated in the global scene. given the chance by the company to create a global release these guys would crush BTS or blackpink.

After years of knowing this MV I just realized the guy at the very end is what they all look like mashed together from their missing body parts 😭

REMINDER TO ALL SHAWOLS: This year is about to end and music awards shows are gonna start so let's work EXTRA harder for SHINee to win as many as they can because they worked so hard this year. Correct me if I'm wrong about any of these informations but if I'm not wrong they have been working from the last few months of 2014 till now. First there was Taemin's solo in 2014 and then Jonghyun ' s at the start of 2015. Then they started working on their japanese album and promoting it and let's not forget Tokyo dome (one of the greatest things that happened to both SHINee and SHAWOLS). Then finally they came back with some kick ass album and tbh odd+the repackaged album is one of the greatest albums this year along with bigbang. I mean the songs are of high quality and are insanely great. So they worked nonstop so please guys let them get what they deserve and plus it won't be long before onew and jonghyun go to the army in 2017-2018 so while they're still not required to go let's give back to their hard work that never stopped since their debut days. Ps: they've never been to MAMA and I really really super really want them there because mama needs to see SHINee's high quality live stage performance. And don't forget we need to get this mv to 1M in less than 24 hours.

I get what happening! Lady Music is making a perfect person for her to marry and she is taking the boys best features and putting them as one, as you can see at the end of the mv. Minho has the perfect body, Key has the perfect face structure, Taemin has the eyes, Jonghyun has the lips, and Onew has the nose.
