SES was the most famous girlgroup in the past, they are legends and the "textbook" for any other girlgroups. It took SM almost 10 years to made another girl group that is Girls Generation which become the "standard" of girlgroup. Thanks SM for creating SES and Girls Generation. Next year is the 10th year after the SNSD debuted, I hope SM will debut a girlgroup that can become another best girlgroup of the next kpop generation.

+Lizette Muniz there are rumors going around that a girl group going by the name White Fox will debut in 2018. I'm interested to see what kind of girl group it is. SM has always made girl groups with cutesy or sexy concepts. I hope it will be different this time.

They debuted in 1997 with their hit song "I'm your girl", which has been covered by many groups such as SNSD, Miss A, Wonder Girls, Apink, etc "Be Natural" was also originally an S.E.S song which was remade by Red Velvet! S.E.S. stands for the members names; Bada (which means "Sea" in korean) the leader and main vocalist 0:08, Eugene the visual and lead vocalist 0:05, and Shoo the maknae and sub vocalist 0:10 They disbanded around 2003 and are coming back with a special album for their 20th anniversary! (They are not permanently back together, just for this one album) Currently, Bada released an E.P. called "Flower", Eugene is in "The Return of Superman" with her husband Ki Tae-young and daughter Rohee, and Shoo is in "Oh! My Baby" with her husband Im Hyo-sung, twin daughters Ra Hee and Ra Yool, and her son Im Yoon (who I think is the little boy featured in their latest MV teaser "Remember"!) They opened so many doors to new groups. Back when they debuted, they were the BIG THING, so ahead of their time. It wasn't normal seeing the female artists with their hair dyed, S.E.S did it. They created the visual position. Yes, Eugene was the first and official Visual in KPOP, before her no visual existed because the position didn't exist either. Bada's voice was seen as something out of this world and she is still considered one of the divas and best voices in KPOP. We are lucky enough to be able to watch their path in music. ♥️

Why is it that I end up liking all SM groups, older or newer? Quality. SM knows quality. Welcome back S.E.S! All these legendary groups coming back makes me strangely happy, hopefully groups like Shinee, SNSD, EXO, FX, etc. will continue long and successful like their sunbaes.

S.E.S. 이름만 들어도 눈물이 나올 것 같네요, 저는 팬클럽 친구 2기 회원이었어요. 1997년 용산 팬사인회 갔다가 팬들이 너무 많아서 집으로 돌아옴. 1998년 뮤직뱅크, 인기가요, 음악캠프 공방 뛰어 다니면서 활동함, 방배동 숙소 앞에서 유진 생일파티를 잠깐 했었던 기억이 있네요. 1999년 드림콘서트 갔는데 핑클 나오면 모두가 고개 숙이고 있어야 했던 ㅠㅠ

BoA was THE first foreign artist of ANY country to hit number one on the Oricon after WW2. SM did open up the Japanese market, but they didn't do it with S.E.S.. They did it with what they called "The BoA Project".

Every kpop idol should aspire to be like SES. They are not only successful as a group in the little time they were together but also achieved relative success in their individual careers. I'm not even trying to be dramatic, but this is hands down one of my favorite music videos to exist. Yes, it's mostly a visual mashup of all of their old music videos, but it still remains to be a beautiful music videos. They perfectly show S.E.S.' best and most emotional memories, and it truly is breathtaking. This group has such rich history and a strong bond, which is clearly evident through this video. No matter what anyone says, S.E.S. is truly one of the most iconic K-Pop groups that ever were and will be.

Do you know? This song's album has sold 760k sales, and S.E.S have other albums over 600k sales. Total 4 albums that surpassed 600k sales. So funny when people said SNSD's The Boys is the most high sales album all time.
