This is a new sound from SM, and it was very creative, specially the thoughtful and mysterious concept. The beat is a bit too shy, maybe because they're experimenting. But it was good enough to be clearly heard and enjoyed. Whoever chose Baekhyun as the vocal made a great choice, that man's voice should be utilized.

The song talks about breaking free from society’s standards and expressing your own creativity. It goes deeper as it tackles more on the too systematic educational system, and how it seems like manufacturing robots. Moreover, it emphasized the concept of committing mistakes - how it’s a normal thing, and how it’s not something that would always result to failure. In the MV, you would see a rainbow in the background which we know represents the LGBTQ+ community. The MV was able to portray society’s obsession for perfection through the perfectly aligned chairs and people with the same pose, the line of people trying to form a perfect circle with the paint, and the perfectly shaped circles and organized cardboard boxes. All of those things were contradicted by Baekhyun, who was the only one acting differently among the crowd. He was also the one who deformed the ball at the end of the MV, and the hanging lamp above him gives emphasis on his “uniqueness,” expressing him as someone who thinks differently and acts against the norms, making him stand out. LOCO was spreading paint to stop the line of people from forming a perfect circle. It’s also noticeable how the background in one of LOCK’s scenes is plain white with him adding colors to it, symbolizing art and creativity, but the line of people portraying society’s standards walks over it, and turns it to a gray color. This shows how the people of today kills creativity and uniqueness, and categorize others into someone they expect them to be. The TV or PC monitors could be a symbol for computer addiction or toxic media. Please do check out the lyrics to the song. The lyrics are great, and it really connects to the MV very well. Pdta: The hands holding the ball might also be a direct reference to Michael Jackson’s song “Heal the World” which could now be interpreted as saving the earth, as well as saving humanity from falling to depravity. I really love this song because in my opinion it's so different from everything that I've heard before. The slow build up is probably my favorite part and I like the difference between Baekhyuns soft but strong vocals and Locos fierce voice. Also, the meaning behind the lyrics is important.
