After coming back to this, I can definitely see why this is a struggle for them to do on the spot. This video is pretty much like a wide spread musical number. The tempo keeps changing, and everyone has to be doing something individually or in small groups. Just look at 1:10 alone. Before Leeteuk makes his way past the members, all of them are 'standing holding a gun' but the placement of said gun and their legs are all different in the smallest detail. And that's just for one section of the verse. Basically they're telling a story of course, and very precise movements are required to pull this off without looking ridiculous, or out of formation. If I'm looking at this right, there is pretty much only 1 part of the chorus that repeats. Incredible song, seriously, with a very visually captivating dance formation, and it's a pity that the choreo difficulty hinders how much they perform it.

The choreo for this one is so AMAZING, and no wonder why they have trouble remembering it, it's very complex, I don't think they repeat any dance move or well at least I didnt notice it, everytime they were doing something different, and they dont stay in the same position, they are moving around all the time, like damm!!!! Tho I really hope they can learn it again or find a way, so they can perform it live again, it would be so awesome!!

Not gonna lie....by this is one of the most unique choreography I ever see. Its not hardcore but more into cool and smooth type of dance.

This song has a lot of breakdown and pauses Every breakdown is different No wonder why its hard for them to remember Because they need everyone in the group to perform the choreography with the proper blockings

They finally do a proper SPY after years. I do understand why they think that the choreo is hard. There is no repeating. It's like a several different part of choreo. But as their fans, i really like the song coz this choreo really pointing SJ perfect team work on dancing and singing.

I think Donghae did the same thing on live, or was it the concert?

spy is one of the most memorable choreos in kpop i’ve ever seen. it’s almost a musical number! everyone’s doing something unique. plus the way they incorporated all those spy moves in one dance! it’s so clever!! unfortunately, they need all the members to dance this so we probably won’t be able to see them dance this :((

I can't blame them. It will be really hard to win at random play dance with this choreo and a lot of missing members.

i always amazed with their choreo, how they could manage the formation, with a lot of members, the distance between each other when they dance, they did it so perfectly, & in this song has so many slow n run phase but theydid it so well without blocking each other

You know while watching this, what was running through my mind was how boss Super Junior is xD Like if you think about it Super Junior members own shares of SM because that's how awesome they are, they and SNSD and TVXQ along with BoA and Kangta own a large amount of shares, while SHINee and Fx own less and EXO does not have any. But back on the topic of SuJu since they own alot of shares they could in the future combine their shares and have say in many of SMs decisions. And then i thought about Super Junior in the future having something like SHINHWA Company, and training new idols xD Boss was all that came in mind, how Boss SuJu is xD
