This is his pre-release single thus it's called "prologue", but he's already slaying so much with the self-written lyrics and freestyle dance. 2 Kids is a prelude to the main cb later which will divided into 2 parts "Act 1" and "Act 2" when his albums will be released. He said they're gonna be dramatic, intense and something new that has never been attempted in kpop. Prologue, Act 1 and Act 2 are interconnected with each other like a movie.

Not gonna lie taemin is art himself i feel bad for people who didn't stan him imagine not stanning one of the legends ;) ;) :)

Taemin calls his acting bad, but there were parts here that feel really raw and powerful especially in the bridge. My favorite dancing parts were in the first chorus, the part when he was pushing against the car and the bridge to the final chorus. The ending had really amazing and emotional dancing and the fact that he apparently freestyled that... wow! As for the song, I like how minimal it was in the verses so the focus is on his vocals and the way he was singing the verses really did sound like someone recounting their regrets. The choruses were really catchy (a pet peeve of mine is when I don't remember the melody immediately after hearing it the first time, but this, I thought, was pretty catchy). This song is somewhat mellower than his other songs, but I think that he makes up for that drama with his performance. Taemin, I'm always proud of your work!

This song is so deep, honestly. Like sometimes I wonder what all these idols have given up in order to chase and catch their dream. They might've missed their childhood. They might've missed their friends in school. They might've sacrificed their school life. Not just that, with every move they make, they have people stalking them. Training for years and practicing for hours, not caring about whether they'll make it or not, they just tried their BEST. Ill-treatment, fights, having to get along with people they've never met and working hard to understand and keep up with the other members. And they made it. I'm so proud of Taemin. Taemin is like the only person who keeps doing the opposite of what people expect and hence always keeps surprising them. When you think he can't do any concept but sexy ones, you get proven wrong because he nailed this concept. The song is so beautiful and the lyrics are endearing and can be easily related to. His dancing perfectly conveyed his feelings. His singing is on point. It's perfect.

it's interesting how this video was shot in france but NOT around the eiffel tower/champs-élysés, because that setting honestly became a bit overrated. i love the intimate feeling of those smaller, less-crowded streets. i live nearby (belgium) and it almost makes me feel as if taemin was my neighbor for a day :)

I think my favorite thing about shinee members songs is that the vibes are different from what new kpop songs are nowadays, they are usually edgy and goes all out and hard but shinee songs are nice, deep, calming, nostalgic, and just beautiful. I've always liked Taemin fir his "sexy" songs (that i feel only him can convey in such an elegant and eye catching way) but this was sush a masterpiece, so bittersweet, the lyrics are somewhat simple but they have so much emotion to them. I don't know if he had participation in the making of the song or if this might come from a personal experience, but i could feel his pain in his singing and dancing. In conclusion, A+ as always
