yes but I think we cant blame sm fully, its also the fandoms fault that taemin is in a hard spot. Because can you remember how the fans promoted the most popular group back those days when they were still growing. they used to comment there name or fandom name in other artists videos. they used to make crop there faces and attach on hot bodies to the point people fantasied on the Photoshop. They used to make many amazing crack videos which doesnt insult or shame the artist but in a way we fall in love with them. and so much more.the success of the most popular group is because of there fandom. they made them shine...dedicated and loyal fans

I have to disagree on this because he is the center position in every photoshoot & interviews (with some rare exceptions, but never in the main photos) and he's the main dancer and main vocalist so he gets a lot of screen time compared to other SuperM members (like in the teasers and Monster & Infinity). He also takes part in all of their songs (like in No manners & Too fast) and sometimes gets the most lines too (like in 100). I'm actually quite happy about the way SM puts him at the front of many of their SuperM thumbnails for YT and Vlive. But I'm not happy about the fact that Criminal was rushed because of the Super One album and promotion ... 😔

@@hlansc I know Taemin through SuperM. As someone who didn't know any members except for Kai and Baek, my impression was Taemin's some what important but I had no clue why he's important. Other member stands out. Baek's high note, Taeyong's vroom vroom, Ten's ballet like dance, Kai's dance and abs, Lucas's visual, Mark's rap. Yes Taemin sings and dances often, but it feels like he's just introducing others, then he leaves and let others shine. I was reluctant to learn about Taemin. Lucas and Ten were actually the first two members I wanted to know more about. When I finally watched Taemin's solo video, one video was what it took to reveal his aesthetic and talent and he became my ultimate bias. I feel Taemin in SuperM balances everyone but he's vey low profile. It's not about how many lines he gets, it's about the highlight moment. And back to your original comment. Yes it's such a shame. Crinimal and Think of You can easily attract a lot of new fans.

@@zhulin2531 I'm so glad you took an interest in him! To be clear, I was replying to someone who said SM shoves him in the back during SuperM activities. Taemin's personality remains the same, whether he's with SHINee or SuperM (I mean sure he's SHINee's baby and SuperM's huyng but that doesn't change the fact he's always been shy) but I actually noticed that he's been very outgoing (Mtopia ??) compared to usual ... I know for some people it might feel weird but Taemin is a real introvert (it will get better with time, the group is still new and they're not working together as often). So it feels refreshing to see him be an older brother hehe 😊 But that said, he's important because SHINee are legends and he's got the most accomplished solo career. And his dance, his voice ?? And pretty face ? 😂 Oh and I almost forgot his stamina ... been to SuperM live and I can tell you that it shows when the others get tired, but Taemin. Just. Keeps. Going. CRAZY. 😭 It's actually incredible how much energy and stage precense he has. Also he starts almost all of the SuperM songs (it's the most important part, JYP did a whole interview on that when talking about Nayeon) and he's the bridge guy too lol.

It depends since the views for Criminal increased after SuperM's comeback i think SM is thinking in creating some kind of Playlist of MVs while releasing related MVs all together, it's SM after all, they are trying something new as expected. Risky but they might be planning something ofc.

SuperM album was made last year, MVs and dance practices filmed months and months ago... even the variety shows were recorded ahead of time. He hasnt really had overlapping scedules these days as SuperM hasnt done music shows nor concerts. Also i understand that making their comebacks close in time is for promotional reasons, because the reason for SuperM to exist is to get to promote SM groups/artists

I totally agree - I often listen to playlist “This is TAEMIN” created by Spotify which consists of 50 songs from his different albums and there’s not a single song that I dislike and skip, quite the contrary I love all of them! Taemin’s discography is simply amazing and he is truly a KING!!!

Taemin has so many amazing songs. Move, Want and Criminal are amazing, but I hope more people also find out about songs like Love, Under My Skin, Door, Shadow and also especially the other songs on Never Gonna Dance Again: Act 1(for example Just Me and You, which I love a lot). If you only know the most popular songs, I really recommend listening to a few lesser known ones. :) But I'm thankful for every person, who watches his MVs

These are the rules for CORRECT WAY TO STR3AM: 1) Watch the video FROM THE FIRST UNTIL THE LAST SECOND! NOT ONLY the first 10, 30 seconds or half of it, but THE WHOLE VIDEO! It will prove that u are interested in the video and not here just for increasing the vi3ws. KZbin will paying ONLY for '' faithful '' vi3ws, keep it in mind!Also to those who said that watching the first 10 - 30 seconds of the video will counted as vi3w - it's available for Spotify, but it doesn't work on KZbin; 2) Watch the video in HD (720p, at least )! KZbin logic is that users will watch the video in the most comfortable for their eyes quality. We all know how 360/240/144p are sucks, and if we can afford - we are always trying to put it in higher quality. If u can afford - str3am in HD! if ur device hasn't HD or ur internet connection is low - then 480p is allowed; 3) DON'T skip, stop or rewind the video; 4) The sound on ur phone should be more then 50%, u can use earphones on it, but the sound should stay more then 50%! U can mute the sound on ur laptop and PC, but be sure that the volume on KZbin is more then 50%; 5) Before rewatching the same video, you should DELETE the watching and searching history ( the watching history is THE BROWSING HISTORY and the searching history is COOKIES ); 6) LOG OUT after the first watching of the video bc from one acc u can watch the same video ONLY ONCE in hour! But if u have a few accounts - then delete the whole history after watching the video, log out from one acc and log in another one, close a tab and open a new one and then research this MV again for rewatching. Don't forget to leave comments and likes; 7) STR3AM MANUALLY! Don't use the playlists and loops when u have a free time for watching the videos on KZbin. Playlists and loops are the main reason of freezing the vi3ws for a long time, also not all of vi3ws from them will be counted by KZbin system, only 10 - 30%! By using playlists and loops u are just proving that u are LISTENING TO THE SOUND FROM THE VIDEO, but NOT WATCHING IT AT ALL! And KZbin is a VIDEO portal where u should WATCH THE VIDEOS, not a music portal like Spotify. Remember that KZbin like to delete '' unfaithful '' vi3ws. 8) DON'T USE multiple tabs or incognito mode - they are counted as SPAM and ur vi3ws will be deleted for sure! 9) Don't replay the video or refresh the page for rewatching - ur vi3ws will be counted as SPAM and will be deleted for sure! 10) DON'T SKIP THE ADS! They are counted as part of the video and if u will skip them - u actually will skip the video and ur vi3ws will not counted by KZbin; 10) Don't change the speed of the video! 11) Use different browsers ( Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome and etc ), accounts, internet connections ( Wi - Fi and mobile data ), devices ( PC, TV, phone, laptop ) for str3aming of the videos - these things will helping to increase the vi3ws! 12) Comment, Like, Share by the video on social media and with friends! 13) AND NOW THERE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE: you CAN'T REWATCH the same video again and again without any gaps!!!!!!!! If u will rewatch Criminal on repeat again and again - ur vi3ws will be counted as SPAM and deleted for sure!!!! The gap among rewatching the same video should be 10 minutes or 2 other Taemin'a MVs

Agreed!!! Even more impressive when you think about how he's been in the game for over 12 years as a 2nd gen idol and yet he still works hard to improve his dancing, vocals, and overall performance to this date. Even his fellow peers and respected seniors in the industry have heaped praise after praise on him for his artistry for years and he's been named by so, so many rookies and other idols as a role model. And for those who put more emphasis on numbers: this comeback is projected to be his most successful in terms of album sales, MV views, and charting. Act 1 had the highest first day sales out of all his albums so far, he charted #1 in 32 countries (beating his previous record of 29), Act 1 charted #1 on the US iTunes chart (which is his first time), and Criminal has the highest views in the first 24hrs compared out of all his releases so far. This was accomplished even with poor promotion by SM + a cancelled Japan tour that should've coincided with Act 1's release! Plus he hasn't promoted on any music shows (he starts next week!) or released his dance practice yet (coming soon according to him). So yeah, to show growth in statistics like these even after a whopping 12+ years in the industry is extremely, extremely impressive. You don't even need to consider the numbers when you can plainly see that his performances have only continued to improve year after year rather than being satisfied with staying stagnant in terms of vocals and dance. And this is also just Act 1 of the NGDA albums!! Act 2 hasn't even been released yet and he's already snatching everyone's wigs. This guy is an absolute legend.
