What I like about SM is that they're not giving Taeyeon half-ass songs, they always make sure to deliver Taeyeon the best of the best. Because she's the perfect artist who can pull anything off ^^

This is her choosing. Part of her new contract was to have more creative desicion on her solo songs and activities. SM willing to honour her wish so she stayed with SM. Pretty sure other companies are dying to have Taeyeon in. But SM kept underestimating her as a solo. I hope she can do a real world tour.

Taeyeon does the choosing but I really appreciate that SM produces all these quality songs for Taeyeon and they don't restrict her experimenting. From what I see from SuJu, they shortlist some songs and they allow the artists to choose title tracks etc. The fact that Spark is the title track means SM must have included this in the choices. SM's music production is no joke. Of course Taeyeon's versatility is also fire.

The book series was called "A Song of Ice and Fire", so when you referred to fire and ice it reminded me of it. The ending of the HBO series was notoriously bad. It would have been better if they had added Taeyeon at the last minute and said, "Okay, she's going to be the queen".

@@soshi-805 Taeyeon generates a lot of revenue and most of it goes straight to SM. She doesn't have rights to her masters and in the past it was her who put in most of the effort for advertising albums/concerts and all the effort for creating her own music. SM really didn't do much for this queen.

I’m a shawol and thanks to her collabs and friendships with SHINee members (and being on amazing saturday with kibum!) I’ve lately been checking out more of her music. Let me tell you I’m completely falling for her... her albums I’ve listened to so far have been exactly my taste!! I haven’t yet really watched live/concert performances but I’ve heard she’s incredible live. I just want to first listen and get really familiar with her music before watching the live versions so I can appreciate them even more. Apparently she’s preparing for an album atm and I’m excited to be a proper fan by then! Besides SHINee I do casually listen to multiple artists, female soloists as well, but there’s something just special about taeyeon

Taeyeon is special because she is a story teller and knows how to convey emotions. She started out with a clean voice at the fresh age of 11 and hasn't stopped improving ever since though I prefer the voice she had during SNSD's prime days, deep and emotional and not as high pitched as it is today. You really gotta checkout SNSD's and TTS's covers of English songs, Taeyeon is always praised as the best by strangers because her voice is so extraordinary and beautiful.

예전 태연이 소시 처음 나왔을 때 이렇게 클 줄은 몰랐지요. 그런데 지금 17~8세에 데뷔해서 벌써 30대가 넘어서 전성기라니? 그야말로 대기만성 이죠. 태연은 확실히 커요. 정말 사랑스럽기도 한데 문제는 이 만한 나이의 여성이 이렇게 사랑스러운 게 평범한 일은 아니라는 거죠. 어쩜 자기 관리도 이렇게 잘 하고 살도 안쪄! 그런데 너무 그렇게 안 먹으면 건강 해쳐요. 좀 먹을 때는 먹어요. 사람이 사는 즐거움 중 하나가 먹는 건데.... 매일 먹으라는 말은 안 할께요. 그래도 좀 먹어가며 일 해요. 좀 더 오래 함께 보고 싶은 마음에 이래요. 요즘 일본 어린 친구들이 치고 올라오는데 태연'씨'같이 중심을 잡아줄 한국 가수들도 힘 좀 내줬으면 하는 바램이 있어요. 뭐 제가 말 안 해도 다들 잘 하고 계시지만 바라보는 입장에서는 '조금만 더!'하는 기분이거든요. 그렇다고 무리 하지는 마시고요.

Taeyeon is really versatile in her genres but honesty this is her sound. She does so well alternative/ soul/ pop. This album is by far her best work (my personal opinion) i like every song on this album and it’s just amazing

One of her best songs. She been my favourite singer sincer her debut with SNSD in 2007. Heard her powerful voice during their first MV and I couldn't believe there is someone with that kinda unique voice out there. And dont even get me started on her vocal control. It's rare to find an artist with a voice like that who feels the music in every fiber or her body and soul. To me, she is a true artist/musician. I have not come across another artist who touched me the way she did since 2007. I know she seen the dark side of the kpop music industry. And it is/was eating her up inside. But i hope she can overcome all the rocks thrown into her way or that of her friends. So that one day she can embrace the music she was always supposed to create. Not sayin she didnt.... But i wish kpop gave artists like her more freedom so they can make all the dreams come true that motivated them to become singers in the first place. She deserves global recognition for her music. She deserves the support to make the music come true that's been gifted to her. Much respect to her. I hope she never stops singing her heart out to the world😊😁👍
