저는 2017년 1월에 아빠를 잃었고 이 노래는 2017년 12월에 나왔어요. 제가 물론 이 앨범도 샀어요. 그때 노래듣고 펑펑 울었습니다. 너무 길을 잃은 기분이었고 지금 생각해도 지금 눈물이 나와요. 이제는 태연이도 아빠를 잃었잖아요. 심지어 생일날에 잃었다는게 어떻게 견뎠는지 상상도 못해요. 저는 3월 3일에 태어났고 아빠는 1월 2일에 돌아가셨는데도 못 견디 만큼 힘들었는데 3월 9일에 태어난 태연이가 아빠를 그날에 잃은 기분이 정말 힘들겠고 생일 날마다 충분히 행복할수 없을것 같아요. 저도 생일날에 아빠 보고 싶어서 미치게 힘든데… 정말 힘든다는 것 밖에 못 느껴요. 근데 태연이는 어른이라서 진짜 잘 견뎠나봐요. 생일 날 인스타에서 아빠에 대한 올리는 걸 보고 많이 배웠어요. 나도 이제 21살이니까 빨리 어른 답게 살아야 겠어요. 애처럼 울기만 하면 안되니까! 그리고 이노래를 몇년 만에 다시 들었어요. 이동안 용기가 없어서 못 들었어요. 근데 노래 듣 때마다 눈물이 나네요.

not to be that "dramatic girl" but this MV hits me so hrd... i dont understand anything but seeing the girl with her father made me cry... i am a daughter of a Military Officer (Army to be exact) i was in my 2nd grade when he left us because our government sent them to the mountains to fight the rebels and neutralize them... thats the time war broke out on our country... the day my dad left us my mom and i were on our stairs i was crying on her lap asking her if my dad can make it and will he be able to come home alive..my mom just pat my head comforting me..at the age of 7 im trying to take it all in and understand everything... when he get to the mountains we barely speak to him.. we almost dont speak to him..one day while my mom and i watching the news WE SAW IT... MY DAD'S TROOP GOT AMBUSHED we saw his comrade lying on the ground DEAD some are injured we cant find my dad... they are interviewing one of the officer atm... we tried to call my dad but we cant reach him... i cried and cried..i shouted to let out the pain and nervousness i felt at that time... we failed to reach my dad... i didnt sleep that night thinking for my dad and praying that he is still alive...the next day their command send us message that my dad is okay and we dont need to stress ourselves however we havent talk to him... when the tension subside my dad reach us out and told us that he is ok..he luckily survive the ambush... i grew up on pain..sorrow... afraid that anytime i can lose my dad... one thing i hate to hear the most is gunfire.. bomb explosion... people panicking and shouting coz ive heard everytime when my dad call us during his break time we were laughing coz he made some gag joke then suddenly we geard gun fire and bomb explosion..that was one of the most terrifying day for me... every night i am crying for my dad's sacurity..that is healthy and safe..that he's eating his meals... for 10 LONG YEARS I ENDURED THAT... my dad can make home for xmas and new year.. so basically while everyone is celebrating xmas im on my room wishing my dad a merry xmas and his security... every new year while everyone is lighting their firecrackers i wish that my dad have a peaceful night and that he will only here fire crackers instead of gunfire and bomb explosion.. while everyone is peacefully asleep my dad is awake keeping everyone's safe.. while every kid is playing and spending time with their father i am alone most of the time thinking about my dad...and my dad is actually out there fighting for rebels.... 10 years has passed..i didnt grew up with my dad.. i dont know how it feels to be a little girl being on their dad's arm..or how it feels to cry on your dads shoulder when someone bullied you... i grew up being bullied at school because i dont have father what they dont know is that my dad sacrifice himself to protect their family... every birthdays and graduation my dad wasnt there for me... anyway my dad survived everything and he is now retiring from service this february he spent 32 years being a military ☺ I AM PROUD TO BE HIS DAUGHTER. I WONT EXCHANGE HIM FOR ANYTHING AND FOR ANYONE. ☺ so to everyone reading this.. YOU ARE LUCKY IF YOU GREW UP WITH YOUR DAD... to the kids reading this CHERISH EVERY MOMENT YOU SPENT WITH YOUR MOM AND DAD...YOU WILL REGRET IT SOON IF YOU DONT... find time for them.. For those who haven't read this heart-warming story about Taeyeon and her dad. The president of SM Academy Lee Solim, was asked who was her most memorable student over the years. “To answer who was the most memorable student, SNSD Taeyeon was the most memorable. When Taeyeon was in 2nd year of middle school, she showed up holding her dad’s hand. Considering she’s from Jeonju and in middle school she was too young, and she had to be accompanied by her dad. Her dad ran an eyeglasses shop and he told me this. He does not plan to have her become an entertainer or a singer, he knew very well how difficult that was. And it would be tiring for him to drive her up here each Sunday so he told me to persuade her to give up if I thought she had no basic talent and it wouldn’t work out for her. So I told him ‘Mr Kim, then we shall check out her singing’. And she sang, and well, she wasn’t that good like she is now. But her voice was clean. If she works hard she can do well, that’s what I felt. I asked Taeyeon there and she said she practices alone by singing along to songs on her computer. The child was too young I wasn’t sure how to set up her practice routines. But I asked her if she can work hard and she replied that she can work hard. So I told her dad ‘It may be hard for you but the child loves to sing, and even if I make her quit here she will continue on her own.
