내 기억으론 너랑나 이후로 기억에 남는 케이팝 노래였는데 처음 들었을때 너무 센세이션하고 비트가 가진 청량함 시원한 보컬까지 이토록 좋은 앨범이 있을까… 특히 후렴에 ’하루종일 걸어도 똑같은 풍경은 절대 보이지 않아‘ 마음에 와닿음

Right? I hope talent will be a new big trending thing in 2019. Nowadays there are so many unnecessary and sometimes even cringy solo debuts (not only Korean scene) which make you think that people will monetize the dumbest ideas which result in 2020-2022 having a completely ingrown misconception as "talent/dedication has nothing to do with being a vocalist". What a shame.

Guys stop commenting about how this MV has an "american feel" to it. Taeyeon didn't work hard to have comments like "omg it has an american feel to it" or "it seems awkward that taeyeon's mv is similar to most american MVs" America doesn't own "america life" feelings. Taeyeon clearly said for herself that she got inspired by her recent trip to America so it is kind of a glorified version of an "American summer". She enjoyed making this MV and she worked very hard on it. Just keep your opinions to yourself and enjoy the MV.

The story starts with ‘WHY’,Taeyeon driving in the middle of nowhere while she still has the sapphire pendant , she then arrived at a town nearby this is where ‘STARLIGHT ‘ start, for some reason she got bad blood with the hot dog guy, this is where she meets Dean. She probably wants to apologize for ruining his shirt, but she then saw his ring and on impulse, she grab his hand and they hangout. She got a message on her beeper “M74-Miss Me” from there she knew they can’t hangout for long . She keep getting these flashbacks every time she look at him, the ring ,the music note, you can see it in her gaze that Dean remained her of someone. After sometime Taeyeon give him her pendant, and they separate. The story then continue with the rest of ‘WHY’ MV. The message “M74 - Miss Me” from the beeper is a location for the puzzle, hence the compass. She then chilling alone ,doing what she did with Dean. After solving the puzzle and read the message she smile, she last scene represent that she is already over her ex and she already found a new love.
