내 기억으론 너랑나 이후로 기억에 남는 케이팝 노래였는데 처음 들었을때 너무 센세이션하고 비트가 가진 청량함 시원한 보컬까지 이토록 좋은 앨범이 있을까… 특히 후렴에 ’하루종일 걸어도 똑같은 풍경은 절대 보이지 않아‘ 마음에 와닿음

처음 이곡으로 태연님 접했어요 곡만 들었을때 뜨거웠던 낮의 햇빛이 사라지고 상쾌한 바람과 함께 풀벌레가 울고 하늘을 수놓은 은하수가 펼쳐진 찬란한 여름밤을 보는것만같았어요 앞으로도 태연님하면 상쾌한 여름이 떠오를것같아요 저의 여름이 되어주셔서 감사해요

트로피컬 하우스 사운드라는데 중간에 뽀잉뽀잉~ 하는 열대스러운 소리도 좋고 최고다. 댓글 보니까 와이 재평가 받아야 된다는 글 많은데 진짜 공감됨. 여름에 다시 태연 와이 무대로 컴백해줬으면 좋겠다 ㅠ

자영 진짜 이 노래 청량감 쩔어요. 태연 목소리가 좀 애절한 느낌이라 여름 노래랑 안어울릴줄 알았는데, 완전 사이다 보이스. 작년 노랜데 아직도 자주 듣네요.

내가 제일좋아하는 뮤비... 이 뮤비는 자유로우면서 트인경치가 편안하고 태연의 옷이 코디가 잘됐지 한번에 쭉쭉 뻗어나가는 음이 있어 시원한 느낌이다 비록 작년노래지만 작년부터 들어도 언제봐도 언제들어도 질리지가 않는다...이래서 내가 태연을 좋아하지..

Right? I hope talent will be a new big trending thing in 2019. Nowadays there are so many unnecessary and sometimes even cringy solo debuts (not only Korean scene) which make you think that people will monetize the dumbest ideas which result in 2020-2022 having a completely ingrown misconception as "talent/dedication has nothing to do with being a vocalist". What a shame.

Guys stop commenting about how this MV has an "american feel" to it. Taeyeon didn't work hard to have comments like "omg it has an american feel to it" or "it seems awkward that taeyeon's mv is similar to most american MVs" America doesn't own "america life" feelings. Taeyeon clearly said for herself that she got inspired by her recent trip to America so it is kind of a glorified version of an "American summer". She enjoyed making this MV and she worked very hard on it. Just keep your opinions to yourself and enjoy the MV.

I think Dean absolutely didn't die. If so, how could Tae smile when she saw Miss Me? Hope you guys remember that at the end of Starlight MV, Tae gave Dean her necklace and they went away oppositely when the sun set, which means their "summer love" has "broken up", or in another word, ended mildly but a bit unwillingly. So in Why Taeyeon set up a memorial wreath 3:43 at the beach they have been to for the first time she went back to M74 road. It's a beautiful love story.

even if your theory might work, it is still weird that it looks like a memorial. i mean whoever sees that would think that someone could be buried there.. it's weird. if they meant for Dean to be alive in the MV, they could've just shot a scene where taeyeon went back to the rooftop and put those pictures at the end.

Every time summer comes or Summers’ around the corner I always listen this song. Because this is my favorite song from taeyon even after many releases. When I listen this song, I feel that freedom is beside me, feel comfortable and focus on the fun things. This must be one of the best song in the whole world. She has perfect voice. Her voice is gold and this song never get old. She is so talented, she has no boundaries, she has amazing style and everything that she touches turn into masterpiece. Seriously they have handled Taeyeon's solo releases well. Each is something new and refreshing. Rain, Why and I are all excellent releases. Why's hook sounds completely original in this over-saturated kpop market.

It does? Sounds a bit like it's hopping on that tropical house bandwagon. Also sounds like that Major Lazer song Lean On. Doesn't matter much to me, though -- Justin Bieber kind of did the same and had a great year. Despite the fact that I don't think it sounds that original I still think it's amazing and is her best song so far. All three of her solo releases have been spot on. At the end of the day, the music industry IS oversaturated so everyone copies each other. It's what we, the consumers, want. Haha.

don't know why but I actually love SNSD and Taeyeon now the most...like right now they are not at their peak so they don't have to be under so much pressure as they used to be. They can freely express themselves more and involve more in their albums. Nowadays there are many rookie girl groups that take the spotlight which I think is good because it lessens the pressure for SNSD. I really don't care much about chart position or awards...I am just happy seeing them grow to be real artists and sing the music they want.

One of the best vocalist in the entire industry. Only a few are on her level. Luna of f(x), Wendy of Red Velvet, and Solar of Mamamoo, soloist IU, and Yuju of Gfriend are the only few I can think of. And even then, they all have very different sounds and uniqueness only they captive with.

they should perform it live too b/c ik during the first week (even though she is only promoting for 1 week), they perform two songs (one song from her album) and her main song 'why'. i hope one of the performance is up and down ft. hyoyeon and another performance is her song starlight!

Because Taeyeon has promoted 3 MV almost in the same times, Starlight, Why, Why dance version, also, Sone & TY sone need to watch all 5 MV (plus I and Rain), if counted these 3 MV total rates are almost same as previous "I" which over 50M for 3 months.
