It was not stated in the presentation but in the legal documents signed between KAKAO and SM, the ARTISTS' rights are all given to KAKAO. These two jokers are deceiving all of us, making our Artists do more projects (yup were happy) but in the end, the Artists will suffer, they are restricted, their rights are given away, and will not profit fairly.

@@sonicking2570 And other companies COULD release their plans behind the scenes, but they don't, it's kept locked behind company doors. This is a massive step for any entertainment label to do and could change the landscape of Korean entertainment. They are being transparent, which leaves them open to repercussions by the public if these plans fail. So yes, it's easy to make a video, but these actions are more than just a video, it's a step in accountability.

Please protect all EXO members in all the malicious rumours circulating in the internet and in the public. They don't deserve to be treated badly and please punish legally those people who would spread a malicious and negative rumours about them. The NINE EXO MEMBERS are very precious to us and please treat them well as we love and support them. Please don't let anyone ruin them, when from the very start it is a false rumours and there's no fact about it. That's the only thing that we're asking from you. We're hoping that you could treat all EXO members well and let them do whatever thing they're passionate. They're all talented artists that could shine individually and as a group. Last thing, promote them well in the global stage. They really deserve that from the very start of their careers.

they can't even protect them from sasaengs for all their groups, didn't baekhyun recently called out sasaengs...what can they do to sue the rumours on the internet? rumours are rumours you as a fan know what's true or not. Exo better leave sm and set up their own agency if they want to be as a group, they are wealthy enough to do it

Seriously I could see the changes in recent days and i believe in 3.0. As a fan of k-pop all I ask is to preserve Kpop's essence and SM culture. Big 3 is always big 3 don't let it change..I really hope you win for the sake of saving kpop and music.. SM fighting!!!!

agree. i am really believing that the changes will came for the best. sm's win is a artists and empoyes winning too. not just to keep our favs on the track, but also to preserve some important stuff like jonghyun's songs and everything that was build all these years by the members of the company. this just in! hybe sold of its share to kakao, profiting at estimated 87.4 million USD. if the tender offer of kakao to get more 35% of sme shares approved at end of the month, sme will be finally acquired by kakao. COngratulations kakao 🥰, you are now the largest sme shareholder even without the extra 35%, as you said you will take over sm management, do as you promise! 🥰

THIS IS WHAT WE WANT. That had to cause mental strain on Yuta even though he can't even 'say' what's on his mind due to possible backlash within the company. This is why WE ARE YUTA'S voice. We WANT YUTA TO BE ABLE TO SPEAK FREELY FOR HIMSELF AND GET ALL THE SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGMENT AS WELL AS FAIR TREATMENT THAT OUR ROCK STAR DESERVES. He was done terribly in 2021 and recently he was breadcrumbed especially in the Ay-Yo comeback. We want the company to know that SM stands to gain as we YUTAZENS support to access more YUTA content so when they short us, they hurt the Company and the group. Please look at the BIG PICTURE SM and support YUTA and your foreign members fairly. Thanks you!

My request to SM is to continue to stick to releasing FULL albums, and I am glad that this was in the scope. Other label idols tend to only release the title track and try to make money through ancillary business (modelling, merchandise, etc), but you SM have always released many of your artists' songs/albums, and I could always see your intention to put the strongest emphasis on musical content, which makes your label the most artistic label among others, and that is why I am proud to be an SM stan for 20 years. Please continue your strictness in producing all kinds of music. MUCH LOVE to your creatives.❤

As much as people liked to make fun of it, I thought it was great for you to talk this transparently about the company and its plans. I hope the ambitions of this video can be fulfilled since you addressed very important matters which have been demanded from fans again and again. It's great that you're thinking of accomplishing them and I sincerely hope you'll be able to do that. We'll definitely keep supporting our favorite SM artists and hope for a brighter future for them and us fans with the start of SM 3.0!

You have disrespected Irene and her fans for YEARS despite her constantly selling out anything you marketed with her name on it, generating the most views, online trends on sites etc. with no promotion. It has been years since the issue and she has the largest fanbase of all RV members with the second largest Chinese fanbase of all 3rd gen GG members. Any project or activity you have allowed her has gone well - Work and Holiday had 40M views on a nugu website despite no promotion until we mass emailed. And yet! No activities for her, despite her saying she wants activities. Not even an instagram highlight for her. You have also failed to protect her from Korean anti fans. We have waited for years for you to act and you have failed despite readily taking action on behalf of your male artists. Do better for her. Until we see evidence of this, we will be rooting for HYBE and encouraging others to do the same.

I’m impressed that they addressed the concerns that fans have been commenting on for years. I truly hope that these changes are implemented and look forward to a progressive movement of better care for the artists physically and mentally. I’ve been a fan of LSM’s legacy, but for now I’m fighting with SM, seriously I’ve seen progress in SM in the recent years, I’ve seen them improve not only in terms of handling their artist but also giving fans so much in return . I’m against Hybe’s acquisition as my pride hurts, prolly every og stans were hurt. We protected and supported SM for years. We can’t just accept it as if it’s nothing to us.

@@Gold-pv5uoChris Lee has said he will step down, and what makes you think HYBE's goal isn't to eventually own at least 50% of everything? Do you think there is a label under HYBE where they don't own at least 45% or more? At the end of the Kakao and HYBE intentions are the same, the difference with Kakao is SM at least gets to retain most of their identity.

That NCT's expansion will end with Tokyo is the best thing I've heard in this whole SM-HYBE drama. Lord knows we don't need NCT Hollywood or Saudi. And all these though nice to hear are "nice to haves", okay? They're promises at best. And we all know what promises are made for. Uh-huh. Yeah, you better keep them promises. Im a mental health awareness advocate, and im extremely happy to see the psychological issues finally being addressed. It was unfortunately to late for some artists/idols but its amazing to see SM paving the way for other managements to follow. Please SM stand by this and never let it slack off. Irene has prioritized Red Velvet for all of her career. She has single-handedly hard carried the group and SM (and possibly a few others as well) has taken advantage of this.  BETTER TREATMENT FOR IRENE #IreneDeservesBetterTreatment
