@@meme-iz7ri you can't say flopped. They are less popular debuted under SM and knetz didn't appreciate them enough for their music, as their music were way ahead of that time. You must be new to Kpop or knew nothing much about SM if you don't know The Grace.

SM’s history is replete with questionable choices MUSICALLY. They promoted SES over THE GRACE They promoted SNSD over F(x) They under-promoted RED VELVET but over-hyped aespa - … but they make a LOT OF MONEY ? ! ? ! 😮

when people call this old school kpop it makes me feel old. Technically it isn't old school lol groups like Fin.K.L, S.E.S, H.O.T, G.O.D, Shinhwa, Turbo, Goofy and solos like Lee Jung Hyun, Uhm Jung Hwa, Kim Wan Sun just to name a few are really the old school artists.

For Korea, I truly believe they were ahead of their time. They were and to some degree still are a big departure from the "typical" girl groups in Kpop. I love them and wish they would have been promoted more, accepted by a wider audience, and just had more success all around. All of the girls deserve it; they are so crazy talented.

They still are out of the box for a kpop girl group, the closest we have gotten to this in the current generation is Mamamoo and even they fall pray to the same criticism that the grace got back then, the only other girl group that was doing the more mature sound in kpop like the grace at this time was Brown eyed girls and they haven't done things together for about 2 years or so, to bad that just when the grace started taking of SM shipped them off to Japan. I think if SM kept them in korea till promotions where done for there one more time, okay era things would have been different. It's okay ask the members seem to enjoy there life now and have done other things in the entertainment industry.

Sadly the grace has no successors tbh, alot of girl groups at this time had this more mature sound going on to bad any girl group that debut between 2003-2006 fell pray to the success curse that the groups from 2006 forward didn't fall pray to.

SES, 밀크, 신비, 소녀시대, f(x), 레드벨벳 전부 소녀 느낌의 걸그룹인데, 천상지희는 SM에서 유일하게 데뷔 때부터 어른 느낌나는 걸그룹이었음.

이삭앤지연은 걸그룹취급도 안해주나요...? 어른 느낌이란게 섹시함만 있는게 아니죠... 이삭앤지연도 데뷔곡보면 순수한 가사는 아니에요 sm 데뷔 걸그룹중 유일하게 데뷔부터 성숙한 컨셉한건 아니에요 유일이라는 단어는 수정하세요

Wow i really like this sound/style by a girlgroup, it kinda reminds me of Destiny's Child and this kind of western girlgroups I grew up with (not a copy of course) and it seems quite different from the current kpop group style I enjoy tough

I agree with you there. CSJH members are so talented. Each of them is like a combination of Taeyeon and Hyoyeon. Too bad they were overshadowed by SM's newer artists.

I started listening to The Grace yesterday and I'm really disappointed in myself that I didn't start listening to them earlier. :P They're really talented and their style reminds me of music I listened to when I was younger. oh, the nostalgia. :P But that's why I love them now! :D

This is a group where all members are well-rounded. And it is such a shame for them to rot away in Japan when they really should be back in Korea taking the world by storm with their amazing vocals! I'm honestly so sick of SM ignoring them and focusing too much on the newer groups who don't have half the talent CSJH does. I really, really miss them :( They're gorgeous and super talented. It's just a waste.

I can't wait for Stephanie to make her single debut soon! I'm glad she's still with SM and just working with Media Line for the album, because I want to hear all 4 of those talented girls comeback (which I think is this October? :D)
