Finally I can see what Ning Ning's technique is when she sings high notes. Alright, so BoA sings very chesty and very resonant. And has a chesty mix when she sings high notes, so she pushes more forcefully. She sings like(not sound like) In sooni, whitney houston, celine. Jojo etc basically think powerhouse 90's voices. Wendy has a voice that's not chesty, but almost always sings in a mix. But her mix is very healthy and rarely forced but still pretty resonant. So she sings like Patti Labelle, Ariana Grande, chaka khan, stevie wonder, Aretha Franklin. And Ning Ning, she's very strange and completely changes her technique from low, to mide chesty, to high head voice. So she sings low notes with her talking voice. Sing mid belts mix. And her high notes aren't belts at all, just a head voice mix, but her high notes arent resonant at all; its like a louder falsetto with low larynx placement. So she sings like seulgi. She's the only example I can think of because Ning Ning's voice is rare in pop music. Her technique is very theatrical like maybe Lea Solanga or Katherine McPhee or Beyonce during her crazy in love era and before. In other words, Ning Ning does her own thing that's particular to her. It makes me wonder how her voice will mature and what choices she will make as it does. Idk, none of what I said really matters. It's just fun to hear the mechanics of what each woman does to sing the same song.
