@@nnyann i feel like maybe i get what youre trying to say? maybe its because they were reading the lines in english off the monitor so it didnt feel as sincere? the thing is SM wants them to really be avengers of kpop, and in other words, a group that will breakthrough on US market and sell well over there(and ofc internationally too) thats the main focus here. i feel like theyre trying something new to appeal to the western audience more, and honestly im glad they had such a warm welcome in LA. anyways like OP said its an ultimate group with amazing visuals, rappers, vocals and dancers coming from different SM groups, the amount of talent here is huge noone can deny them that. its just that will this style of promoting the group be what makes them shine in the west.

@@saidatulaishah8140 It keeps the beat for the artists and plays the music because the background music is inaudible while performing due to the fans. If you don't have the in-ear, it becomes very difficult to sing/rap on time with the song and dance to it as well. Hope this helped :D

I love the way he sound & pronunciation is excellent. He sound like an MC/ announcer about to give away an award on some parts. Love it.

I'm American so my first language is English. Mark has improved his grammar, meaning less usage of "like" and "you know". Trust me I still use those words alot but I noticed he worked hard not to use them as much. Its not easy breaking certain habits. So I'm very proud of him!! Waiting for more raps from him!!

Which is why each of them have a specific talent (Baekhyun is main vocalist, Mark is Main Rapper, Ten is Main Dancer etc etc). Even if they all of something they are very good at, they are first of all performers. Not dancers, not singers, but performers. That is why you souldn't compare korean idols to singers/dancers. You can be a good dancer or singer and be a poor performer. In the kpop industry, no matter how talented you are, your label will make you into a performer. You a good rapper ? Great, but if you can't perform on stage they you're not cut for the deal.
