When Kai mentioned that he was one awe of the crowd in front of them, I had forgotten that he hasn't really experienced the American crowd as much as say, the NCT members. Really made me feel shivers there -- kind of just reciprocating his feeling. That must feel like such a surreal moment for him. Even watching their music video reaction, Baekhyun shock at how loud the fans were was amazing.

Mark has been working so hard since such a young age .. He left Canada when he was 11-12 , learned Korean , a new language , debuted so many times and never took a break. Here too , the pressure of communication is on him , I wish people would stop clowning his English ... It's very hard to be multilingual He is an inspiration for all of us and sometimes I feel bad reading all these comments...

I have seen Mark and Lucas really cling on to Kai so much it makes me happy. He must be such a gentle hyung to them.

i kept seeing people say that Mark is too talkative and he should let the other members speak more. But you have to understand, he's the most fluent english speaker, and has the most experience when it comes to american interviews in the group. Although Ten is fluent as well, his personality is more introverted and it's his first time experiencing promotions at this scale. You can even see here that with some questions, their heads turn to Mark because they rely on him to speak first since it's easier for him to directly communicate with the american audience. Baekhyun, the leader, literally yeeted a question at him when he couldn't properly express what he wanted to say in Korean. The translators were great, but even then, it's difficult to fully & quickly translate stuff especially when they wish to say a lot. If you saw the live, the translator had a really difficult time with some of the translations, which isn't her fault since Kai's answers in particular were really long, so it makes sense to make Mark speak as to not have that barrier. But whatever, I'm just ranting. Don't hate on Mark for speaking. He's a lovely person who deserves all the love and support. They all do.

I really appreciate how the hyungs are really cool as being a senior of NCT. Though it's like NCT is the center of attraction as they are more active at the time being, they are cool about it and stay well composed throughout the interview. Also NCT though being a junior, they really know how to carry the group along very well. They know well how to blend in. Especially Mark; mature, confident, eloquent and so very polite as usual hard carry the interview.
