This song broke a lot of stereotypes for SNSD back then. Easy dance steps, Dance line not getting much lines, SM's box videos, among others. I'm telling you, if this was released during the OT9 era, this may have probably been their best song/promotion and it's not even close. Hard-slaying choreo, dance line getting most of the lines, MV being shot outside a studio, and they even slayed this on Live performance. This is definitely top-tier SNSD release, and it's sad that this song is getting slept on.

yeah, that's cool, but the reason why SM gave yuri, yoona, hyo and soo more lines in this song is because this is the last release where jessica was featured, but since she left after they've filmed the m/v, they had to re-do the line distribution and gave all jessica's parts to these four. that was a good decision by SM, but as we can see, in party m/v, tiffany, seohyun and tae got the most lines, as usual.

This is indeed the hardest choreo that SNSD has ever tried, their concept when they debuted and the concept that the industry had back then was different, the choreos weren't too complex because they had to be syncronized and look pretty, nothing beyond that was needed and for years the girls stayed like that, if you compare choreos for new girl groups now, they are more complex because that's what the agencies and public want for the groups, it's not better or worse than any SNSD choreo, it's just more powerful, just compare Red Velvet and SNSD choreos and you'll see what i mean

For some reason the Jpn version is better in the sound and music maybe because it was originally in Jpn ver... So this is what it's like when the dance line (SHYY) got more lines than they usually got, and I think more lines than the vocal line (TSST).. Very refreshing... And the dance... i's so powerful for a girl group... they are still the best...:)

Gin Schnaider If you watch their old shows you'll see that sooyoung is #3, sometimes better than Yuri depending on the style of dance. Sooyoung is normally teaching the choreography to the girls with hyoyeon. Oh, and also Jessica was originally part of the dancing line but you know how our ice princess is lazy lol

What annoys me the most is that even on live performances cameramen avoid Hyoyeon like she's the plague even though it's her time to shine. Remember the Mr Taxi dance break? They would do an awkward close up on Yoona's face while Hyo was dancing in center position (which I believe was much more important and attention worthy than Yoona's smiling face, even if I love her smile).

Yuri you do not know how amazing you are looking. I think I'm going back to my first few Soshi days when she was queen (then her and Tiffany sort of stayed there together for a whole year). Yulti!!! Love how the dance line is dominating this song, because honestly Taeyeon needs a break from the crazy amount of singing she gets (The Holler stages this year made me want to make sure she was ok and try to comfort her.) then seeing her smile so lively in this video was 👌👍.

Why just cant you fans be satisfied on every comebacks of their idol groups? You may not like the song at first, but listen to it often and you'd like it. yahh the mv is not that extravagant but the props are not the focus on this one, just look at their choreography! People have preferences. Just because they like a group doesn't mean that they have to enjoy every single song. There are times when a group comes out with a song that some doesn't like, but that doesn't mean that they think the group in itself is bad and that they suddenly aren't fans anymore. I am not a sone, but I have friends who are and I respect them in the kpop industry so that's why I watched this. I liked it, but that doesn't mean that I'm suddenly a hardcore fan either. People have preferences and it's truthfully slightly ignorant to expect everyone to just love this song after listening to it a few times. You should not force yourself to like a song. That being said, I couldn't agree with you more about Jessica though. I know it's hard, not just for the fans but for the girls too, so the best thing would be to just accept it and move on.

The vocals were really spread out in this one. I felt like the secondary singers (Yuri, Yoona, Hyoyeon and Sooyoung) had way more lines in this than normal and the lead singers (Teayeon, Seohyun, Tiffany and Sunny) were in this way less. Interesting song. I'll need to listen a few more times to really tell how I feel about it.

It always baffles me to think how GG was STACKED. They had top of the class visuals, vocals and dancers, and many of their songs have that "oomph" made for stadium audiences. I love TWICE's cute concept (they really do it best) and Red Velvet's pure vocals (check out their acapellas), but I really miss the heart-racing productions that GG brought to the table 🥰
