To be fair, I believe is wasnt hardcore promote as it was for their Japanese comeback. 🤔 I believe that was the case, coz the Japanese one was released first, I think.

My Hyoyeon shone a lot here, she mostly was the one with less screen or center time and is underrated. I do not know how much I repeated her part since 2016. Whenever I watch this MV, I keep clicking backward whenever her center time is done. She's such an amazing dancer!

This song broke a lot of stereotypes for SNSD back then. Easy dance steps, Dance line not getting much lines, SM's box videos, among others. I'm telling you, if this was released during the OT9 era, this may have probably been their best song/promotion and it's not even close. Hard-slaying choreo, dance line getting most of the lines, MV being shot outside a studio, and they even slayed this on Live performance. This is definitely top-tier SNSD release, and it's sad that this song is getting slept on.

Which is how I found them cause it was in a suggested when I was watching Morning Musume. New fans listen to all the new kpop. Some discover the legends and enjoy them and some don't. yeah, that's cool, but the reason why SM gave yuri, yoona, hyo and soo more lines in this song is because this is the last release where jessica was featured, but since she left after they've filmed the m/v, they had to re-do the line distribution and gave all jessica's parts to these four. that was a good decision by SM, but as we can see, in party m/v, tiffany, seohyun and tae got the most lines, as usual.

***** Well I'm glad they distributed the lines more evenly, but TTS voices still stick out as the best of the group. For example, Seohyun got the least screen time, but she was really memorable for me because her voice really popped and was very strong.

@@mirabell794 Actually it's not. We are talking here about choreography. These days Dreamcatcher has the hardest dances out of all girl groups (choreography + line changes). Gfriend had amazing hard dance routines at the beginning as well. Don't get me wrong, I know this dance is not easy, but being called the hardest dance from a k-girl group is simply not true.

I read an article that said, this song is for the 9 of them including Jessica. It was supposed to be the gift of GG to their fans for successful concert in Tokyo Dome but because of unexpected incident happened to Jessica, it is delayed. Originally, Jessica's lines are : 1:10 (who was covered by Yuri) 2:26 (who was covered by Yoona) 3:03 (who was covered by Sooyoung) and 3:18 (who was covered by Taeyeon) Well, the 8 of the really did a great job especially for the dance line. I'm expecting for for the Y-SHY dance sub-unit. Sunny can do a solo debut, but I hear that Taeyeon will have a solo debut this year.

For some reason the Jpn version is better in the sound and music maybe because it was originally in Jpn ver... So this is what it's like when the dance line (SHYY) got more lines than they usually got, and I think more lines than the vocal line (TSST).. Very refreshing... And the dance... i's so powerful for a girl group... they are still the best...:)

I remember when this song first came out. I was brand new to Kpop at the time, Gee and I Got A Boy got me obsessed, it was March of 2015 and I was 13 at the time and this song came out a few weeks later. Now I am 23 and I can say I miss this group so much. They were my obsession and they always brightened my day when I was a kid. Kpop is not the same anymore.

This is indeed the hardest choreo that SNSD has ever tried, their concept when they debuted and the concept that the industry had back then was different, the choreos weren't too complex because they had to be syncronized and look pretty, nothing beyond that was needed and for years the girls stayed like that, if you compare choreos for new girl groups now, they are more complex because that's what the agencies and public want for the groups, it's not better or worse than any SNSD choreo, it's just more powerful, just compare Red Velvet and SNSD choreos and you'll see what i mean

Fun Fact - As they shot this video in a real mining site, they had to wear some kind of high visibility clothing. Hence the fluorescent yellow gloves on during the day shoot and complete high vis orange jumpsuits, with reflectors during the night shoot. Even if a construction site isn’t in operation it’s still mandatory to wear proper gear. If there was any work or heavy machinery active at the time, they probably would have to have hard hats on too, but they could still pull it off no doubt.

this is EDM song, Electronic Dance Music, so its feels different. anyway, soshi is not just a group who will do the same, play safe, and do similar song or concept every time. dont just stuck in specific concept/music of them and keep comparing it to the new release. if you want to keep up with their music, you gotta put an open mind, because soshi is always upgrading, and surprising, you will not know what they gonna pull off next. each time, they will draw you in.

I've always liked Hyoyeon since I discovered SNSD. She reminds me of Lay (my ultimate bias) because before the MVs that were just released, they weren't noticed much but now, people are spazzing over them ^.^ It makes me feel nice that unnoticed members in Kpop groups these days are getting recognized a lot now :)

This is not a lyrical song, it's a dance song. If the words were taken out, it would still make you want to dance. The words give it a story but really aren't needed. In other words, I would be just as satisfied to watch them just dance to this, if that makes any sense. ^^

8angelsfighting But these lyrics are very important. It shows a potential shift of demographics for SNSD. Usually soshi's Korean music is targeted at older male fans. For example, Seohyun says "Hey oppa look at me, please stare at me a bit" from Oh! But this song is different. This song is like a Korean version of SJJD, more targeted towards women. Yoona says "You're staring at me as if it was love at first sight But I can't easily accept you." This song could be marketed as an anthem for all those Korean women that maybe don't want to be held down or feel pressured into marriage. Lyrically, this is an important move for Korean soshi.

I personally like this song, the song itself proves that soshi can do a lot more than just a 'cutey-girly' song they went out of their comfort zone starting from The Boys era when they started going at it with the dance moves and this song right here certainly proves that they can do alot of genre, that they can rock edm songs. And at the same time they can prove that even without jessica they are still the queens of kpop. And we all know that jessica too, can also prove that even though she goes solo she can still purchase her talent. So lets not hate each other guys. Spread the love sones, for soshi. :)

Yuri you do not know how amazing you are looking. I think I'm going back to my first few Soshi days when she was queen (then her and Tiffany sort of stayed there together for a whole year). Yulti!!! Love how the dance line is dominating this song, because honestly Taeyeon needs a break from the crazy amount of singing she gets (The Holler stages this year made me want to make sure she was ok and try to comfort her.) then seeing her smile so lively in this video was 👌👍.
