Slightly off topic, but really really impressed with how much Winwin's (and Kun's!) Korean speaking skills have improved since the first time we saw him! I remember at the beginning he was the super quiet and shy about speaking korean because his vocab and conversational skills weren't as advanced - probably nervous about making mistakes, but now he looks very confident and comfortable with joining in on conversations. I think Yuta (who's practically fluent now) said when he first came to Korea he was basically in Winwin's situation regarding fluency. Gonna be interesting to see NCT in a few more years where the foreign members will undoubtedly be more comfy and confident with Korean! Learning an entirely new language takes time and dedication, and it's great to see that Lucas, who from my view seems to be one of the least fluent (for now!) of the bunch, is also putting himself out there to converse as much as he can in Korean even though he makes grammatical mistakes now and then. After all, even if you make mistakes while speaking, it's all part of learning a language!

Always come back to this episode because hearing the conversation better Lucas and WinWin always makes me feel something. I know what Lucas feels like. I live in a country that My family is not originally from. Having half with me and the other half across the world from me. And the only thing we can do is communicate through our phone. And knowing that they’re so far away is the worst feeling. And knowing I have someone like Lucas that I truly look up to so much feeling the same and not feeling I’m alone in a tough situation anymore. I’ve always looked up to the guys so much. But after this conversation between Lucas and WW I truly feel my connection stronger with them two. Know that we can relate to something as big and emotional like this helps a lot.
