A rant I’m sorry: Taeyong is such a talented man, he suffered so much before his debut, was hated on, and now is the leader of 20 (well 9 other boys). He pours everything into the lyrics that HE writes, yet is now hated because of line distribution and many don’t like his rap style. I hope he gets the hug he deserves and realizes we all adore him so so so much. Lucas, funny and optimistic has always been pushed under as someone who is nothing else/is shallow. He is the reason I discovered this incredible group and I hope he slays in WayV and continues to be the happy talented goofy ball of hope that he is (stream coffee) Mark Lee, where do I begin. He’s so young, so overworked, so talented, and is the object of hate to so many. Many clown him because his English isn’t as good as what it was (because he rarely uses it and left Canada at such a young age) or because they think he’s not good enough to be in three units, or because he takes up everyone else’s lines. He’s a young growing boy, and he’s actually the sweetest person ever, so please be nice to him, he’s aware of what the fans say and he deserves much better than this. And last but not least, Kim Dongyoung, the only vocalist ever, the most caring, most amazing, most woke guy, he is my FAVORITE vocalist in kpop and his voice gives me chills. He’s beautiful and confident and I hope nothing stops him from being so. These members are barely a 5th of NCT and I could go on and on and on about the rest because they all deserve the world, but I’ll cut it short and say stan NCT because they are 21 (super underrated, can’t believe this video is still under 10 mil, and that not a single video of NCT’s has crossed a hundred million ;( ) absolutely hilarious and insanely talented young men. Still can't move on from this. Not everything in music has to be deep. But THIS is deep. Without even understanding the lyrics, you can hear the wistfulness...the regrets in the sound, in the way they sung and rapped. But it isn't really sad. It sounds more like acceptance. And if you look at the translation, you'll fully understand why. They sing of uncertainties and mistakes of the past, and the sacrifices that they had to make in order to get to where they are today. This is truly a gem in their discography.

They did not let the past define who they are, and they will always embrace their present self. (this is my own analysis lmao plz don't roast)
