At first when Cosmic came out, I didn’t feel as captivated as I was with Red Velvet’s older songs… but now, after a year, I’ve grown to absolutely love it. The melody feels richer, the concept hits deeper, and it’s such a comfort to listen to. Red Velvet truly has that timeless charm where their music ages like fine wine. 💖🎶

I thought that line also reffering to to the midsummer day that marks the first day of summer. And throughout summer the sun shines bright almost all day long. Its like a saying that they don't want the summer to end.

Midsommer has recently become very popular overseas, one example is in the show "the summer I turned pretty" they had a midsommar themed party for 4th of july

We don't have to pretend it's a novel idea for it to be great, and it's a wonderfully executed MV, and fits Red Velvet's theme perfectly.

Obviously, that’s just speculation since I’m not a part of their creative team. But yes, I love how often they reference ICC in their songs!

Making a song inspired by midsommar really fits Red Velvet. I mean Red Velvet‘s two most used concepts are literally horror and summer… So they combined these two elements and made a colourful summer song with a creepy backstory. 🌷🧝🏻♀️🖤 The music video is so well made! All of the sets where they filmed are absolutely beautiful and the dresses they wore in the mv are looking beyond gorgeous. There are so many colours and flowers in the music video! It’s giving fairy vibes! 💐 The song sounds awesome as well. I’m obsessed with every part of it. Red Velvet never dissapoints!

Red Velvet is reported to be making a comeback at the end of the year. While I don't expect an entire media cycle, there are a few things that I do want: 1. A livestream with the members so they can get up to their usual antics that we love them for 2. A return to KiIIing Voice where they can sing the rest of the songs they didn't get the chance to during their first time (as well as Cosmic + their upcoming title track) 3. Another member gets to participate on Trick Kode with Nayeon. It seems like the perfect setting to promote a project (and Yeri's episode has easily been my favorite so far, but that may be the Luvie bias at play lol)

Idk how to explain it but this type of fantastical and whimsical song with a chorus where the group sings like fairies is something that feels very much TXT and red velvet.
