i think it's so cute that SM uses "town". it gives a small town, everybody knows each other but still have independence from each other, cozy vibe. This is something SM can only do, they are legendary. I guess we can't name any other company that has its 1st-4th gen idols annually performing together and singing this song of hope from the 90s! Some people underestimate SM's impact specially the newer fans, but KPOP is nothing without SM, LSM basically formulated kpop, and everything we enjoy now was from his idea. That's why South Korea respects SM so much, they pioneered this system that brings so much profit and pride to the country now.

Kai's and Doyoung's part literally made my day... Seeing the only EXO members that participated and my bias in NCT together is literally the happiest thing I see today... Thank you SM... Love SM artist and family forever♡♡

sm gives me so much hope now. even if my old favorites like shinee, tvxq, snsd, super junior, etc aren't all together, they're still represented in smtown. i've grown up seeing fancams of smtown concerts and all the artists singing hope together and now that we've pretty much transitioned to fourth generation it makes me so happy to still see smtown singing hope with 2nd gen, 3rd gen, and 4th gen together
