I love how it is a fresh take on original version of Dreams Come True. BoA did an amazing job producing this for aespa. Along with aespa doing an amazing job performing the song! CGI is so much better now compared to the 90's ahaha.

SM에 다른 본진이 있는 라이트팬인데 에스파라는 그룹의 음악색이 좀 정의되는 느낌임. 블랙맘바부터 세비지까진 좀 낯설고 새로웠던 장르가 원래 알고 있던 곡을 편곡하는 방식으로 음악색을 보여주면서 더 그룹의 특징을 자세히 보여준 것 같다.

노래가 너무 좋아서 자꾸 들으러 오네요. 90년대+블레이드러너 같은 뉴트로 비주얼도 좋아요. 이번 비디오에선 닝닝이 빛나네요.. 스타일 찰떡이고 보컬도 너무 매력적이에요.

The vibe of this song feels so nostalgic yet futuristic… It gives me so much euphoria. Aespa is officially at the top of my favorite girl groups. They come out with the most unique sounding songs that are different from others. I love that they express authenticity and how they set the tone. I’m in love.

You should check out the original by S.E.S :) EDIT: I know about the actual original song by Nylon Beat, so stop attacking me in the comments lol. A few days later from posting my comment when others were telling me that Nylon Beat is the original, I did checked out the mv. All this time I've always thought Dreams Come True by S.E.S was the original but it's not. Obviously, I mean that Aespa's version is from S.E.S.....

I really wasn't like expecting this kinda vibe. I really loved this song very much. Such an amazing remake song. The concept, the sets, the raps,the vocals, the visuals everything is just perfect. I was hesitant because SES and Dreams Come True holds a special place in my heart, growing up in the 90's and all. This was an awesome remake and I loved everything about it. I think SES would be proud too.

mv 첫 인상은 안무가 대단히 아름답다는 것이었다. 오리지날을 훼손하지 않으면서도 에스파의 색깔도 그대로 유지했다. 뭔가 고전 무용을 보는 느낌이다.... 물론 보컬도 말할 필요가 없다.

Interestingly the tune is based on Finnish song from 1996 "Mä rakastuis luuseriin" by Nylon Beat. Lyrics are totally different but melody is mostly same.

다시 들어보니 SES의 원곡 "Dreams Come True"는 SES "바다"를 포함해 목소리가 너무 이쁘고 몽환적인데 aespa 리메이크곡은 확실히 걸크러쉬 그룹답게 파워풀하게 변한걸 느낄수 있네요.
