Taemin is probably the highest level when it comes to a soloist. He has no weak field as a musical artist. his artistic sense is simply superior. guilty is an irrefutable proof of that.

Meanwhile kpop big deal year end show Golden Disk Award is dangling a cover of Guilty by rookie groups. A COVER of a 2 month old LEE TAEMIN song! After Taemin asked for a Guilty year end special stage but yeah they act like he doesn't exist. This is what SM and the whole freaking deranged ageist BS industry do to the most marketable global soloist ever come out of Korea! You know, that Taemin who has just sold out 300K concert tickets in 2 days! This is how they treat him! Am I crazy or is this K industry crazy??? Protests have started on bird app and insta!

In a world filled with kpop idols who are trying so hard to appeal to the western market by making songs in english and american pop songs taemin just stands out with his uniqueness. This man is his own genre. You appeal to the western market by being yourself, no one needs copies of the same song, we need Taemin and his music.

Singing in english is not a crime, and JK is not an unknown kpop nugu, he is a global star, and his songs are perfect.

The thing about Taemin is that he never stops. He never stops improving, he never stops honing his skills, he never stops experimenting. And most importantly, he never conforms with the mainstream. I love that he is brave enough to address dark themes that other singers are afraid to address. It shows he's not just a great singer and a best dancer in Kpop but that beautiful head of his carries a brilliant brain. I'm sure if he attended a normal school he could easily be top of the class and a class president as well.

I don't even have proper words to describe how incredible this is or how amazing Taemin is for this whole MV. Where to even begin!? I kept finding things over and over again to keep being in awe of whether it be the stunning choreo, the story, the FANTASTIC vocals!?!?! This coming from our maknae who once barely sang a couple lines per song in the beginning. I am so unbelievably proud of him. He just outdid himself!!! He keeps showing his talent flourish and grow with every comeback! I love him and I love his work endlessly! A true artist!

What I love about Taemin and SHINee is they don't produce commercialized/ manufactured pop songs. Although the fandom isn't that big or we don't get that much awards compared to the big groups, we're blessed with high quality music and artistry that only they can give. The fandom's generation is just different from the newer gen's fandoms.

@@MS9SM-6 SM is a big label. They just botched Guilty promotions, for whatever reasons. SM also didn't let Taemin to perform Guilty at end of the year shows, instead allowing other groups (like kiss of life and txt) to do Guilty covers. That's (probably) why Taemin is not with SM anymore.

@@MS9SM-6 That is due to other fandoms being bigger, making multiple accounts and they stream all day on multiple devices. To be fair he has other songs that aren't even at 10 million that deserve the same love. I never understood why all of his releases don't get at least the same amount of love. I just think shawols and TaeMates have a very different streaming approach since a lot take time for their normal daily lives compared to other fandoms.

음악도 클래식, 무용도 발레 덕후이던 내가 태민 무대를 보며 그들 못지않은 예술성을 느껴 빠져들게 됐다. 자신의 깊은 감정을 음악과 춤으로 표현하는 태민이는 대중음악을 예술의 경지로 끌어올린 장본인이고 아마 이 부분은 두고두고 대중음악계에서 다뤄질 부분이라고 생각함. 대중적인 노래가 아니라도 아티스틱한 자기 세계를 보여 준다는 면에서 충분히 가치있고, 그렇기 때문에 팬들도 열광적으로 응원하고 서포트하게 됨

어드바이스 때도 처음에는 난해하고 이상하다 했는데, 두번 세번 듣다보면 홀린듯이 적응하게 되는 특이한 가수...남자 솔로 앨범 구매해본건 태민밖에 없는데 사놓은 앨범 후회없게 하는 가수네... 멜론으로 곡 구매해서 듣는게 편하긴 한데, 계속 앨범 내달라는 의미로 사야할 것 같음
