So in this mv, Taeyeon is an alien who comes to Earth and meets DEAN by chance. She realizes the stones on her necklace and on dean's ring are made for each other. Taeyeon is originated from the galaxy Messier 74, or M74 as you can see on her pink beeper, in the constellation Pisces ( which is also TY zodiac sign). The planet calls her to return but TY wants to stay longer. Everything is new for her and she enjoys it with dean. But at the end, she has to go back to her planet and leaves her necklace with dean. As if even though we are destined to meet, we do not belong to each other, but the stones do. So like a starlight, TY disappears. lol this sounds like some kind of fanfics 😂

I made a theory for this MV and other vids concerning Tae and Dean 😪 I need to be doing something with my life...Before "Starlight", Dean is an alcoholic ("Pour Up" & "I'm Not Sorry"). Dean finally goes to rehab and meets another girl and eventually falls in love with her. Once they are both released, his girlfriend dies of overdosing on both drugs and alcohol and Dean becomes depressed in "D (Half Moon)". He finds a new girlfriend in no time, eventually killing her with a bullet to the head because she wasn't like his last relationship (Bonnie & Clyde). He escapes from Korea and finds his place in Santa Monica, California working as a singer in a band. Taeyeon is also a performer in Santa Monica and bumps into Dean one day. The events in "Starlight" happen, and they finally believe they were meant for each other. When Taeyeon finally finds out Dean is a murderer, she abruptly walks away from him. She reports him to the police and continues living her life in "Why". Dean runs away yet again and police are constantly searching for him. One day, he was being chased by a cop car and he crashes his own car, ending his life. Taeyeon finds out of his death and leaves pictures of them two at his grave. In "11:11", she gets into a new relationship, but she's too bittersweet to fall in love with the new guy knowing she was the reason Dean died. In the lyrics she sings, "I believe I'll get over you"; but she doesn't think she has enough willpower to do so. Turns out, Dean is actually alive, he joined a gang with Zico and Crush in "Bermuda Triangle". EDIT: 5/20/17 WTF HOW DID I GET 500+ LIKES THIS IS LITERALLY THE WORK OF TRASH but I'm also here to update the theory since Taeyeon and Dean released more stuff. In "Come Over", he has a dream about his past lovers. In "The Unknown Guest", he wakes up the same night, regretting not telling neither Taeyeon or his aforementioned ex from before "Starlight" that he loved them. What he doesn't realize that Taeyeon is closer than he thinks. She becomes a jewelry store owner, and when her store gets robbed, she pleads for mercy to the criminals who robbed her. She is forced to form a relationship with the handsome ring leader, and they surprisingly get along very well. They form a diamond mafia together and rule the black market for jewelry ("I Got Love"). Her leader boyfriend gets shot in a drive-by shooting (plotted by Dean's gang). She mourns him in "Fine". She finds out the identity of the gang who shot down her lover, shocked to find out it was Dean. She has no choice to surrender to the "Bermuda Triangle" gang. Their gangs merge and she has to see Dean on a daily basis, which is pure torture. She promises herself to erase her memories ("Eraser") of all her past relationships so she can move on. She starts her singing career back up again, so she can make a little bit more money since her pay was cut due to the merging. The gang also uses that as an advantage, so they use her as a spy multiple times. For her birthday, the leaders (more specifically Dean) buy her a private recording booth, since singing was her original passion. Dean steals a demo CD of her songs, and he praises her voice later when they're both alone. He confesses his feelings for her, and she's shaken. She takes off an entire week off work to process what she heard from him. She flees to San Diego, spending most of her days on the beach, writing songs and performing various times. In no time, Dean finds her singing "Sweet Love" at a restaurant. He ambushes her on the beach afterwards, finally telling her that he loves her. In "Cover Up", she tells him that she loves him back (the line "I said it, I said it, I meant it, I meant it"). In "Make Me Love You" and "Love", the two sing about how happy they are with each other. I'm putting too much thought into this. If anyone wants to make a fanfiction out of this, go right ahead and do it! (I might start writing since it's the end of the school year and I want to include all the songs in "My Voice".) I'm thrilled you guys like my theory! Thank you!

Taeyeon was born on March 9 Which is Pisces. The birthstone color is blue which is her necklace. @ 1:10 "M74 - miss me " M74 is a galaxy In the constellation Pisces where taeyeon is from so basically taeyeon is sort of an alien. She called some one on the phone which probably was her people telling her to come back home (m74) She came to visit earth where she ran into dean. And he showed her some things they do on earth (listening to music, the beach, skateboarding, the swing, piano.) She loves it here and likes dean but she knows that she can't stay here so she spends the last time with him watching the sunset on the roof top and gives him her necklace as a memory of her . Then she leaves to go back to M74. "You are my starlight" means that if ever they miss each other to look at the stars so they won't feel alone. I think this is what is happening here and the other songs on her album might have something to do with this. I think Either way, it's a nice song . I love it❤️
