What a Legacy this woman has left behind her and only at 25. She like the Michael Jackson of South Korea and Japan. She's done so much for the South Korean music industry and her inspiration just keeps living on. I could swear that BoA is the artist in the world to produce 1 or 2 albums every year for 12 years and managed to land the number 1 spot every time. I really can't even think of any American artist that have accomplished that same feat.

I really respect BoA, she is one of those rare really strong artists who built herself from just a normal SM artist, to the leader of the Hallyu wave, to a business associate and share holder of SM giving her a lot of power in one of Korea's strongest entertainment companies also while being a judge in KPOP STAR with JYP and YG showing SM's respect to her. She doesn't need to sing anymore to make money, but does so anyway for her fans. BoA

BoA was the first Kpop artist I heard three years ago. She's amazing and even though I first really became a fan two years ago, I still love her music to death. She's so talented and for me she will always be one of the best in Kpop. She can dance and she can sing so much better than anyone in most of the new groups. (I like some of the new groups, I'm not saying that they aren't talented.)

there's a LOT of symbolism. it's bout her fans and finding an identity as BoA (artist). beginning = no tattoo, just regular idol working under company like a puppet (since idols have to follow whatever company says) i'm guessing but it's about her journey from being an idol to a true artist. the BoA we see in the house is her normal self like her fans who watch BoA or other stars that we idolize (1:58). She's all glamourized and good at performing and the BoA staring at her wants to be like her.

To me, there are currently 2 female artists whom I respect and like a lot: Boa is the Best Female Solo Singer in South Korea and the other is Ha Ji Won, Favorite Actress since Hwang Jin-i.

This has just become my favorite SM music video for the past 2 or 3 years. That's how amazing I think this is. Another reason why I love this video is because it reminds me of the old SM videos, especially here old videos, yet it manages to incorporate SM's current music video style and mesh them well together. :)
