i don't know how to explain this but... even if this song is being released at the end of 2020, anyone could guess it was released by a 1st generation idol. i love how boa is still active in the era of 4th generation kpop BUT she still brings her old school sound with her music and she does it beautifully. she's not trying to fit in with newer groups' sound but at the same time she's not outdated at all. a legend.

Yeah, there were and still are many brilliant artists before and after BoA's success. However, BoA showed us Kpop can go global with a hard-trained trainee of dance pop music. It was a social phenomenon: everyday newspaper and TV news were full of what she did and how foreign markets reacted, not only in cultural section but also in social, economic, and political sections. Plus, there's no entertainment company in Korea who even doesn't consult SM's strategies in 2000s which have roots in BoA's success. So stop devalue what she did. Don't tell me that I don't know Korean culture and history cuz I'm Korean and I've got ages enough to know and listen to Korean pops in 2000s and 1990s when I was young.
