If consumers do not like the music, it can be as simple as that. I love GG but many of Hyoyeon's songs are honestly not great. Perhaps other people feel the same - hence the reason for the low view count? You may not agree with the differing opinions on the song, but most of her music is not well received. I don't think there is enough fan reactions in the comments to suggest additional exposure would help the song much (this, too, is my opinion anyways).

For the past few months she has been traveling doing DJ activities around the world, so they probably don't have enough time for a full album for a physical release considering her schedule. Plus, SM does not want to put enough resources for multiple artist release within a same period of time. Unlike in Japan where people will actually buy physical CD singles, people in South Korea, or even globally, in general are not willing enough to pay extra just for one song.

@@f4rensabri that's not really how it works in the kpop world. No one buys a physical album for the music or the cd, people don't even have cd players anymore, fans buy albums for collection and for the other physical inclusions like photocards so it doesn't matter much whether it's a single, mini, or full fans will still buy the album. For example just earlier this year a girl group called STAYC sold 415k copies of a single album that basically only have one song, Teddy Bear. The way I see it SM just don't care at all just like how they let Hyoyeon manage her comeback livestream all on her own.
