I mean even with promotions he barely gets the view rates coming in. I think as fans its up to us to continue to push the promotions and hype him up. Also once those songs came out esp criminal it still has only went up to 1 million or 2 now and it been out for almost a full yr which is sad... So yeah they can promote all they want but if we don't put effort into it then this is what happens...

@@cutiekat6630 I totally understand what you’re saying, but when SM actually provided an ad for IDEA it became Taemin’s fastest MV to hit certain view counts, so it definitely helps us out during that first week or so when they put more effort into promo !

I am not a real fan of kpop BUT yesterday i listened to this song for the first time and still listening to it. It's been a long time since a song managed to make such an impression on me that I just sat there in shock with my mouth open since the begining of the song and was surprised at how perfect the song was. AND I AM STILL SHOCKED. I don’t know how to explain it, but this song seemed like a second wind.

Lee taemin be spoiling fans since the members enlisted and tried every single thing to communicate well. He did vlive so often even though technology is not his thing, he tried learning english and spoke english more so that international fans could relate and now that he's enlisting let's say that he did well!! This man has been so damn busy for a year. He's been dropping bop after bop, first with SuperM, then as a soloist, and then with SHINee. Now he's promoting Advice and is about to to the military. Respect to this man, he works so hard.

The devil works hard, but Lee Taemin works harder. I get why he feels annoyed when others attributes what he has to "luck". Show the man some respect. He's been working nonstop since he was 11/ 12, and is arguably South Korea's most iconic male soloist, as well as member of two successful groups. Luck had nothing to do with it. He took innate talent, and combined it with focus and passion, to hone it into something extraordinary. There will never be another Lee Taemin.

I'm 100% convinced if Taemin (and for that matter all of Shinee) wern't making korean music /hidden behind what people think Kpop is (so they never try it) he/they would be like 'Drake level' famous! I mean he IS still world famous. Like his videos get double digit millions of views and has fans in essentially every market. Lets not let BTS & Blackpink numbers dilute that this is considered the top few % of musical success 😄But I agree that if not for the language barrier he and Shinee would be even bigger 😉

It shocks me that this comments section is full of people saying they think Taemin is underrated. He is an absolute institution in the industry and anyone who's anyone knows and respects him. I think this is just evidence that the international fandom has simply become too large because there are people driving view counts and which current groups succeed who really haven't the first clue... and perhaps more telling is that 50 million views is no longer considered successful by yall apparently.

Taem has an insane work ethic. He's worked on his solo comeback (mini album and concert), SHINee (comeback, repackaged album, and concert), and SuperM (CF) simultaneously. It's going to feel damned empty when he's enlisted.
