Also managing trainees were hard to keep before. It was only then when BoA made success in both Japan and Korea, beating sales of her brother and sister groups, made SM shine again and debuted TVXQ!, Super Junior, SNSD, etc.

BoA has released 18 FULL ALBUMS since 2000 ( in Korean, Japanese and English ), including the Japanese album that was released February 14th 2018 ( fun fact: total of songs she has released on studio albums now stands at 245 ). This mini album ( One Shot, Two Shot ) will be joined by a mini album to be released later this year in Japan, which means she already has produced the equivalent of two full albums worth of music for 2018 and it's only February. I will say it again : IF YOU ONLY KNOW BoA's MUSIC FROM HER MV's, YOU ARE MISSING OUT ON AN INCREDIBLE AND VARIED DISCOGRAPHY !!!

kpop_everywere It all depends what type of song you like more. When it comes to Korean songs some of my favourite ones are: The Shadow, Only one, Shattered, Dangerous, Copy and paste, One dream, Number 1, Sara, Moto, My name, Action, Fox, Spark, Implode, Valenti, Atlantis princess, Camo, Adrenaline. Japanese songs: Bump bump, Amazing kiss, Listen to my heart, Every heart, Key of heart, Masayume chasing, Meri Kuri, Winter love, Milestone, Fly, White wishes, Eien, Possibility, Jazz club, Close to me, Call my name. English songs: Eat you up, Did ya, Look who's talking now.

There have been some good suggestions made and I agree that it depends what kind of music you're into. I would add 'Romance' and 'Don't Know What To Say' for some slow/ballad type songs in Korean. 'Touched' is a high energy song off her English album as well as 'Energetic' and 'Did It For Love'. 'Love Letter' 'Girl In The Mirror' 'Game' and 'Possibility'( duet she did with Daichi Miura) are some to add to what's already been suggested by others.

Finally listened to it on headphones and realized it was engineered to be listened to that way. Her voice is centered on the verse but on the chorus they pan One Shot Two Shot to the right channel with a slight delay returned to the left channel so the sound seems to shoot through your head: bang, bang, you're dead. Love all the vocal layering too. Great job, BoA!

Reyelene McBride lol Thanks but sorry, I can't do that. I used to do live sound engineering but you don't need to be a pro - you can educate your ears yourself. They're just using the left and right channels of stereo. When you hear it in the middle it's because both left and right are balanced equally and simultaneously. Listen to where her voice is on the chorus and you'll pick up the One Shot, Two Shot going from right to left - they take the primary vocal track and pan it to the right channel while also sending the voice through a delaying processor to the left channel, so you hear right, then left, but the perceived effect is that the sound is moving through space, so in this case (with headphones) the space between your ears. It's a sonic joke or pun on the lyrics - fun, eh?

Aloe Vera - That's what it sounds like, doesn't it? Our minds are engineered to make stories (sense/meaning) out of everything we perceive. By delaying the sound in the left channel it appears that each word is moving from right to left, though in reality the sound doesn't travel and the left and right channels are simply separate sound sources. The sound engineer is taking advantage of our hard wiring (ears) & software (brain) to playfully shoot us through the head.

군더더기없이 균형 잘 잡힌 곡+안무+뮤비,, 팬이다보니 뭐 하나씩은 꼭 아쉬워서 회사에 한소리 했었는데 늘ㅋㅋ 이 앨범 수록곡들도 다 좋고 너무 부담감가지고 만든 느낌도 아니라 보고 듣는 나도 편하게 즐기고 좋아하는 앨범,, 직접 본건 인기가요 컴백이었는데 댄서들이 좀 슬림한 남자들이었으면 좋았을걸 하는 생각은 했었음 안무도 섬세해서 그런가,, 여자댄서들로만 있어도 재밌었을거같고,,, 뮤비 로케 장소는 오사카에 있는 역인데 근처에 맛있는 돈까스집있음 십분이상 걸어야하지만😏 올해 일본 데뷔도 20주년 됐는데 투어를 못하는 점이 너무 아쉽다😭

Honestly I think it's pretty good, it's very typical Digipedi style in that in focuses on the choreo and it's pretty simple, but I think that's good because it looks really modern and simple? She has grown so much as an artists. It's amazing how much control she has in her artistry now: whether it's to composing, producing, choreographing, and direction. Shes evolved into an "icon" and artist. I feel with that word , only legends can be seen with it like MJ , Janet, Usher, Prince, Namie Amuro, Utada, Justin , Britney, Beyonce etc. Shes left a impact on the Asian pop scene and still remains relevant amongst worldwide people. Such a shame that knetizens arent showing her support and popularity on her music and music programs because her stuff since Kiss My Lips is well produced and genius.

Mitchell youtube started in about 2005. But it's not the only outlet to discover artists. I've been into asian music since I was a kid and further got into her when she started doing anime songs.

@Mitchell, actually, BoA was very famous in Japan in early-late 2000. I grew up watching animes and for my entire childhood I thought she was Japanese. XD Anyone who watches anime or was into JPop during that time would definitely have heard of her before.

Kimberly Lim exactly. She was a major player in japan. I think she was even one of the first artists to start making sales between anerica and japan after ww2. She did a ton of anime songs; a notable one is everyheart from inuyasha.
