Who cares about digital rank when you have tons of loyal fans bulk buying your albums and diligently attend your concerts. Start talking about your bias when they're at their tenth year of their career and still have the immense popularity SNSD have. Song is amazing anyway. They have such amazing charms deserving "Nation Girl Group" title.

Wow, i just realized that the sets are combination of their old MVs! Beach set: Party Bedroom set (Taeyeon and Seohyun): I Got A Boy Bar set (Sunny and Yuri): Dancing Queen Clothes store (Yoona come out and then Sooyoung appear): Gee Elevator set (Hyoyeon and Yuri): Hoot Hallway set (Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri): My Oh My The last scene, they dance on the stage: Tell Me Your Wish It's not exactly the same set but it's really similar!!

How I miss the good old times 😭😭 When all fandoms interact with each other, and how all groups would always be hanging out with each other, heck they even go far as dissing each other on TV and no one would say anything (SNSD's diss track about Bigbang's Seungri)😂😂 Now I feel like if idols just look at each other people will just start going crazy and spread hate and controversy. New K-Pop fans will never truly understand what K-Pop was really like before, now people only cared about the views and breaking records of others.

You know, I don't understand the point of fandom. I remember SNSD was my first exposure to kpop and it was such an amazing experience for me. The dancing, colors, beauty, catchy melody, synchronization and all their beautiful voices too. It is something I will never forget. Each new song that was released got stuck in my head for days and I couldn't wait to get to my car to jam my favorites on repeat! I've always followed GG, but I guess I'm still not hardcore - at least according to today's standards. I don't care about how many hits their video gets or voting endlessly to give them a boost in the charts & shows. All I see are comments about getting other Sones to watch or vote. What about the song and video itself? Are you even taking the time to just sit back and enjoy it? It doesn't have to be #1 in the charts for it to be a feel-good song in your heart. All you're doing is fighting other fandoms. The charts mean NOTHING when it's 120,000 people making 1,000,000 views on KZbin. You don't need to watch a MV 5,000 times for the girls to know you love and appreciate them. Or, am I wrong? Is this just a different world where you have to grind these numbers out to show how much you care about your favorite band? If so, that's sad. Sorry. But it's true.

I totally agree. I miss KPOP when it was not so obsessed with charts. No one talks about the songs anymore, just talking about getting hits. It's so sad. To Ewinalle: The results companies are actually looking for are called "total SALES" (both physical and digital). Awards are great, but do those awards and all these views put cash in the bank? No. Fans keep deluding themselves thinking this is how they show love while skirting around buying the song/album. To NGG TWICE: take a few seats and keep your mouth shut junior. That's very rude and disrespectful and you are tarnishing the name of your fandom. Twice doesn't deserve hate because of fans who have lack of common sense.

I want to just enjoy the music and MV without worrying about the views but at the same time, I want to make SNSD proud. Many people have been saying that SNSD is not who they used to be and other new girl groups are taking over. I know I should not care so much and focus on our queens but I just can't help feeling like I need to prove them wrong and make our queens proud. Have been with them since Gee era and really want them to be breaking records. Been streaming this for 88338347 times with mobile phone and laptop. HWAITING SONES!!!! :) But at the same time please take care of your health and stay healthy!!

Oh, btw they are all so beautifullll!!!! Sunny looks great in pink hair and personally, I find her healthy! Tiffany and Taeyeon slaying the vocals and visuals!! Yoona looks damn adorable in two ponytails?! The first time I watch the MV I basically fangurled!!! Sooyoung's figure is goal in 0.47 omg. Maknae Seohyun looks like Ariel from Little Mermaid hahaha so cute~ Yuri looks really cute hehe. Finally, my bias Hyoyeon slaying the rap and unicorn hair. Just missing Jessica, my pretty princess. But it is ok; SNSD as OT9 will forever live in my heart.

Everyone seems to forget its very very rare for a 10y idol group to dominate local charts (except BB) not to mention SNSD is a female group. My point is to tell SONE not to discourage. Except korean charts, we are still doing so well on Int' charts and physical. Name another 10y gg who can do this much - NONE! Antis, i'm pretty sure u, ur fandom and ur fav wish they could even have name in industry this long. Drag us with charting? lol our competitor are W1 Winner SMTM songs, we are losing but not too much bitter tho. At the end, SNSD & SONE are still eating well with SNSD's legacy, history and gonna enjoy our time with concert in near future. i have to admit i really didn't expect Holiday Night first week sales to be this good despite lack of promotion on music shows, and the tracks not charting well on K charts. on it's 6th day after release, Holiday Night has sold 88.7k copies, defeating Taeyeon's My Voice (86k copies). now I'm hoping for its longevity, and the album will finally hit 300k copies in total. gotta get that Daesang for Sooyoung.

Ok I really feel the need to talk about why things like "most views in 24 hours" have practically no meaning in today's day and age after seeing comment after comment about views. Yes, views to some extent indicate how much attention a group is getting. However, people now tend to think new groups are more successful than older ones because new groups' videos have more views. Simple analysis of CONTEXT reveals that this may not be the case. In SNSD's heyday back in 2009-2011, streaming wasn't a thing yet. KZbin was just invented in 2005 and it was not nearly as popular as it is now. Social media also wasn't as prevalent: Facebook only had about 500 million users in 2010 compared to 1.2 billion in 2017. Furthermore, K-pop did not have as nearly as many international fans at that time. Considering all these factors, the fact that SNSD achieved over a million views with "Gee" is absolutely incredible. Music views nowadays easily achieve this, so its significance has been watered down heavily. For some K-pop fans to ignore how important modern day globalization and social media is to the popularity of their groups is to be biased and ignorant. Views no longer truly reflect how popular a video is since people deliberately play a video over and over just for the sake of making a video seem more popular. Smartphones and the mobile web also make playing a video so easy: anytime, anywhere, videos can be played. So instead of focusing on some trivial aspect of this video like its views and popularity, take some time to focus on the girls and how amazing it is that they have reached a decade of excellence.

Yes I agree I feel like fans obsession with getting a certain amount of views within a certain amount of hours is a real downfall to Kpop nowadays like what happened to the days where music was about pure enjoyment and entertainment as opposed to now where many fans are smashing that replay button over and over just to get the views up

My opinion but getting 'Views' is not simply EASY. You also have to look at the factor that Music Shows take in VIEWS as a factor in WINNING, that is why fans take it seriously. Anyways, alot of fans give up sleep, going to work or school, and even family/friends quality time just to stream. If you think its easy now, just saying its not as it was back then too.

The thing is guys, youtube doesn't count the views if we watch the video constantly, because of cookies, they only count 1 view per browser every 30 minutes! sooooo if we we want to have more views we need to delete cookies every time we watch the video or use different browsers at the time! So many comments are ripping this, (and 'All Night)', on AKP but I think it's a fun, upbeat video showing some of the bounciness they had early on. I think they all looked pretty good. Hyoyeon, Sunny, Yuri, and Seohyun looked nice and healthy and I'm used to seeing Yoona, Sooyoung, and Taeyeon being thin. But if Tiffany loses any more weight, I'm gonna start worrying. Just a personal observation. Anyway, great job, girls. And looking forward to the dance practice vid. ^^
