I miss the old kpop too.Nowadays, fanwars everywhere and it's so sickening because people keep comparing girls/boys group to which is better than the other. If they're truly are K-pop lover they should have support all the idols and embracing just the way they are.

Personally I feel like after they released The Boys the Korean side of things became a real dumpster fire. The Japanese releases were freaking amazing, but they seemed really neglected other than that

Yah WG was the first kpop group who entered in Billboard chart when Nobody was released but u cant also deny that It was also SNSD who paved the way for Kpop in the world especially in western when Gee was released and the first ever Kpop group who got the first most watched kpop video. They were the 1st kpop group who wave Europe and North America. And also followed WG entered in billboard charts when The Boys was released not just in korea's music charts.

What you said are facts but what I'm saying is that the groups that I mentioned were the ones that actually brought kpop internationally, massively, yes SNSD did achieve those but you can't deny the fact that 2NE1, Wonder Girls, and SuJu were the ones that promoted well internationally because of their songs, Nobody, I am the Best, I Don't Care, and Sorry Sorry Sorry in the earlier years. These songs were actually mostly heard by our childhood. While EXO and Big Bang became famous around 2013-2014 and that was when the kpop fandom skyrocketed. I'm not discrediting SNSD or anything but these groups did better internationally. Also, why mention only WG? Obviously, I mentioned many others.

SM, OH!GG's contracts will end already next year. It's your last chance to care about them. Not only about Taeyeon and Yoona, but also about Sunny and Yuri. Hyoyeon deserves more than 1 single per year. Yuri dreams to become top star. Give her already comeback. Sunny is powerful singer, and deserves her solo debut. We need OH!GG's comeback. Even if it will be single without promotion. We just need dance practice of it. Hyoyeon and Yuri could be perfect duo. If you can't do it, just make their own label. *We need label GG*

This was my first kpop song . I found it automatically downloaded in a Samsung tablet and, everyday, I spent houres watching the video not understanding what it was . (I had no KZbin back then ) I found it after 4 years because I started learning English and I just typed ' oh song '. needless to say it was the happiest moment in my life . The first Kpop song I saw, around 2012-2013. A sample of this song from 2:28 to I think maybe 2:36 came with a tablet bought for my mum, I forgot what the brand was, I went online, managed to find and watch it, and today my number 1 regret is not learning more about them and K-Pop at that time. I have missed out on life 😔!!!

I had the same experience! I remember watching it when I was about 7 or 8 years old? I was watching another girl’s craft video who mentioned them. I decided to google them and I remember absolutely loving their outfits! I just wish I had gotten into K-pop sooner!
