SNSD The Boys era. This was their peak. Complete and utter dominance in the kpop world. Groups adjusted their scheduled comebacks so not to coincide with SNSD. The hype around this comeback when the mv teaser was dropped was unreal.

I think gee was the song that skyrocketed SNSD as superstars , it was a huge hit and the group become very popular. But by the boys era SNSD had already been established as a top girl group and (maybe even the ultimate best ) . Their each comeback was a hits and there popularity was increasing too. The Boys era seems to be the height off their careers , where a majority where looking forward to for there comebacks as they knew they are gonna deliver quality stuff. I personally am not an SNSD Stan . But I have mad respect for these ladies , they are really worked there ass off to be where they are. Its true the 2nd gen groups performance where on another level. The stage presence where was amazing. And yes their never will be a group like SNSD. They where the think you know . They had everything , the looks , the personality , the talent and the stage presence . And even if similar groups come up , SNSD will always be remembered to be the first who did it .

Fans nowdays wont know how POWERFULL this comeback at that time. Imagine being so impacfull that you can make other groups delay their comeback just for not being overshadow by your comeback, imagine being so popular you break the internet, imagine being such a revolutionar you make the way for other group to perform at hollywood show. at that time many were releasing hits, it was a really cool k-pop era! BEST K-POP ERA if you ask me. So many interesting concepts, great artists and various styles at the same time competing and enjoying the music thrill~ gosh, I couldn't decide if The boys by SNSD or I am the best by 2NE1 or This is war by MBLAQ or Fiction by B2ST or NEVERLAND by U-KISS, or STEP by KARA, or LOVE IS MOVE by Secret, would be my fav... miss it
