I get what you're saying, and I agree that it's not right to make Jonghyun a poster boy, but you have to take into account that there are actually people who were deeply affected by Jonghyun's death, and every time they are reminded of it, it's like a knife to the heart. I think that some people are just trying to seek comfort from other people who feel the same sense of loss. The topic of suicide in general is really touchy/triggering for some people. I'll use myself as an example. Because I haven't been exposed to very much suicide (thankfully) hearing about one suicide was enough to trigger memories of other suicides that I'd cared deeply about. When I heard Sulli died, I listened to even more of Jonhyun's music than I usually do (and I normally listen to him a lot) because I was just overwhelmed by a tide of memories from when he was alive, and ultimately, the same aching feeling I felt over his death had come back. It's definitely wrong to use Jonghyun as a poster boy, or to get likes, but for me it was also a little comforting to know that I'm not the only person who was drowning in sad memories at Sulli's death. There's a line between what's remembrance and what's disrespectful, and I think some people have crossed it, but other's haven't. Does that make sense?

ShorterthanJimin but sulli’s passing has nothing to do with jjong’s and it’s disrespectful to mention her (and every other idol that passes) on HIS work. i was a fan of sulli so i found solace with her own fans in her own music video comment section. most of the people that comment those things aren’t fans of jonghyun OR sulli. people love to hype up artists when they pass for a couple days/weeks and then stop caring. obviously i feel pain in jonghyun’s passing too but he isn’t a poster boy of death like you’re making him sound. we all miss him and we were all sad about sulli, but *solely* mentioning him ONLY in situations like depression, death, suicide, is so harmful because he’s so much more than that. i wish people thought of him more often & not just when death happens. it’s so hurtful to see that as his legacy when he accomplished so much in his career that everyone ignores.

As someone who suffers from depression aswell, I can agree, there are times I really laugh and smile, it's not all fake... And as Jonghyun was a person who often laughed and made jokes and all, I'm sure not everything was fake.. but he definitely had to pretend to be fine often though...
