I can't listen to their new songs, it's not the same without Jonghyun. I want them to be happy and support them, but everytime I listen to the songs without him I cant stop imagining which part would be his and can't unsee the empty spot for him in the choreo, and the vocals are not complete without his voice...😭😭😭😭😭😭

Hi Jonghyun, I never met you, because I joined the fandom three years too late (in 2021). I cried as I watched footage of the members saying their goodbyes at your funeral. I just want you to know the hyungs have finished their enlistment, and SHINee is reunited once more. They had a comeback this month (March 2021), with Don't Call Me, and scored four wins. It was a new sound for SHINee, but the members weren't content to go back to the familiar. They wanted to take risks, and grow as artists. I think you would be proud. The members are doing great, but they really miss you. Onew sent an "I love you" your way during an interview, Key talked about you before their encore stage, and Minho remembered you fondly to a little girl who was reacting to SHINee's career highlights on the ODG channel. And Taemin, is well, being Taemin. He did so well when the hyungs were enlisted. His solo work was how I found out about SHINee. Taemin is a hyung himself now, in a group called Super M. He looks after his dongsaengs really well. He looks out for them, makes sure they are eating properly, and gives them dance lessons. I like to think he learned how to do that, because all the hyungs cared for him so tenderly, when he was growing up. He's still a crackhead though, and talks about eating ants, and (black) crayons. I want you to know that although I never knew you, I am seeing you through the eyes of SHINee, SM family members, and Shawols. You won't ever be lonely. You worked hard. You did well. You are so loved, and this will always be your legacy.

I joined Shawol this year too when they released Don’t Call me. I feel so sorry to meet them and be their fans that late. I should have known JongHyun and SHINee earlier and show more support to them...

@@scoopidoopi You are supporting them now, and in doing so, honouring Jonghyun's legacy. He will always live on in SHINee, and in Shawols' hearts. The bond between members, and Shawols is special, and too strong to be broken. If we honour that bond, and their music, I believe it is everything that Jonghyun would want.

Im at the office but my tears won't stop from falling. I'm also new to this fandom and I can relate to how you feel. I wish I was early so that I could have made know to Jonghyun how talented he is and how loved he is. 샤이니 입덕한지 얼마 안 된 샤월입니다. 예전 샤이니 영상들을 보고, 음악을 들으며 종현님은 참 대단하고 "좋은 사람" 그 자체라는 생각이 들었습니다. 제가 어릴 때 하늘에 반짝이는 하나의 별이 된 이를 뒤늦게야 알아가며 뒤늦게 마음 아파하고 같은 세상에 있을 때 좋아했던 사람도 아니지만 괜히 저마저도 그리워졌습니다. 무엇보다 만약 그때 상황이 달라졌다면 이어졌었을 수도 있는 종현님의 지금이 궁굼하고 상상하게 됩니다. 만약 지금에 종현님이 있었다면 늘 그랬듯 분명히 많은 사람들을 웃게 해주며 좋은 곡으로 팬들에게 노래의 기쁨을 알려주는 그런 사람일 거라고 생각합니다. 차가운 세상에서 살기엔 너무나도 따뜻했던 사람이여, 자신이 사랑한 것을 이용해 수많은 사람들을 위로했지만 정작 자신을 사랑하고 위로하는 법은 몰랐던 사람이여. 부디 그곳에서 행복하며 세상에 혼자 남겨진 것 같다고 느껴졌을 때조차 그대는 단 한시도 혼자이지 않았음을, 그대를 사랑하는 사람들이 늘 마음으로 같이 있었음을, 그 사람들이 아직도 당신을 그리워함을 그저 알고 있어주었으면 합니다. 지금도 많은 사람들의 기억 속에서 살아있을 그대는 이렇게나 소중한 사람이였습니다.

I am here for the 2021 birthday streaming party. Some fan facts about Jonghyun. He and his family moved a total of 7 times. He wanted to teach music composition.. He wanted his love to meet him in his late 30s He was to write a thriller Novel and he had been in contact with the publisher on the day of his death and were schedule to talk. Jonghyun hugged his music class classmates at least once a day..They were a small class. Jonghyun had started taking about taking a break from the industry as early as January 2017. Jonghyun's dream was to take a camping trip and roast meat but no one would go with him....

That sad moment you realize you will never hear his beautiful voice live ever again.......😭I was saving up to go to one of their concerts to see Jonghyun live, but now he’s gone. I’m sorry Jonghyun-ah. I’m sorry I failed to recognize your pain. I hope you can now Rest In Peace.....you will always be forever in my heart❤️........ I can’t stop crying. In a way....I feel like as a fan.....it’s sort of my fault. I failed to recognize his hurt and pain, failed to give him comfort, failed to give him happiness. I know that I would never be able to give him all of these things because 1. I never lived in the same place as him 2. As a fan that’s sort of impossible......but it makes me sad to think that he continually made me happy, brought me up from my sad places, and made me love life, I could literally just here the mention of his name and I would instantly be happy......but I couldn’t do the same for him, I couldn’t return the happiness. Please let the fault be with the depression he faced itself :(( I hoped one day I would be able to see him perform live too. Though that day would forever never come (ugh realizing the fact is really hurt now TT) I still wish him the most peaceful possible long journey. Hope we all meet again someday. Jonghyun is living proof of this. On stage, he shone so bright. He was a source of strength, and support to his members, and his friends. He treated fans with nothing but empathy, tenderness, and kindness. And yet he was hurting inside. I really hate that I only really know about him and Shinee through his death. I feel so incredibly guilty about it. Sometimes I forget that he is more than just his death, and I hate it, I really do. Personally, I’m not a Shawol, but this song is really important to me, as I relate to it. Looking at the lyrics, I came to realize that they were a cry for help, and some of the lyrics are very similar to lines in his last note. I apologize to Shawols, I know that you must miss him a lot, I do too, even though I didn’t know of him when he was alive, and I apologize for thinking of him as only his death, because he’s much more than that. If you made it this far in the comment, I thank you for listening to me vent We know you’re in a better place Jonghyun, we miss you 💜

I regret not checking them out before his death but too much was going on with my life and there was so many kpop groups to see since i was a little new to the fandom. I'm not a big fan but i like their songs so much and he was pretty talented and nice as i heard from my friends 💜💜 R.I.P i hope u r not suffering anymore 💜💜💜💜

Reem Wu He had depression, normally people with depression don't feel pain. But rather the opposite, they feel empty. They feel as if they don't have a purpose in life, they can't find joy in the things that used to make them happy. They start losing interest, feel indiffernt, lose their relationships with their family and friends. Depression is a major bitch. What do I think of his suicide? I really think it's stupid. He should have asked for support, he had a whole life ahead of him. . . But he took his own life... Nonetheless, Rest in Peace Bling Bling Jonghyun

Sometimes I wish, that I could find a video, uploaded 2 minutes ago, of Jonghyun coming back from the dead saying he is coming back to SHINee and his comeback is on his way or something, this guy was literally like an older brother to me, my oppa. But I've promised him, I'll achieve my dream and him proud 💖 I've wanted to become a singer because of him, now I'm working hard to achieve that and do what he did and inspire others like he did, I want to be just like him 💖🥺

I'm going to be leaving this note everywhere I can. Today is 12.18.2017, also known as the death date of the beloved Kim Jonghyun. I want this message to get to everyone: I don't care if you stanned Jonghyun, if he was your bias, if you didn't even know him, I don't want your sympathy. We don't need you empathy. "I don't stan SHINee, but I just want to be there for the people who loved Jonghyun and SHINee." "Why would he do this? He had everything and he lead a good life?" "Why would you do this?! We loved you!" Let me get this straight. JONGHYUN is not just an idol, NOT just a celebrity, NOT just a role model, NOT just a member of SHINee, he was also a freaking HUMAN. AND BEFORE YOU ALL go out there throwing out all your sympathy and sorrowness, I just want to say before you do all of that please understand. Please understand that Jonghyun was a human with emotions. Please understand that he suffered to. And like me, do not judge a book by its covers. It was obvious through eyes, he was happy, we THOUGHT that he was happy. Please don't bury him with words. You know what's upsetting though? There are fans in the comments like "Why would you do this to us? We loved you!" They're blaming him for taking his own life and making themselves look like the victims. It's so annoying, I get that they miss him, but he doesn't owe anything to them. I wish they would just let him rest in piece. He obviously thought it through before doing it. You know he even rented out a place in order to do it, he really did thought it through. And the other comments, "He was loved, why would he take his life?" WHAT YOU SEE ON THE OUTSIDE CAN BE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM WHAT"S ON THE INSIDE. Also, "What could have happened to make him take his own life?" HONEY, HAVE YOU HEARD OF DEPRESSION. *AND DO YOU KNOW WHAT AN ANGEL HE IS.* HE'S DONATING HIS ORGANS AND LEAVING HIS *INHERITANCE TO HIS SISTER* And if you ever see those people like I have, "Y'all go spam "Oof" and roast the people on there. (Jonghyun's instagram). This KPOP singer who committed suicide and it's funny triggering their fans.": PLease do not let these people get their fun annoyuing you, mocking Jonghyun's death. Ignore them, repot them, do not pick a fight like they are. You know why? It's because we are not them, we DO NOT MOCK ONE"S DEATH. We are called human for a reason and it's time we start acting like them. I hope you all understand the main issue. Ignore hte fact that he was famous, an idol, he had skin and bones like all of us. He has a heart. Don't go asking why and go support. Support those who are struggling. TAKE THIS AS A WAKE UP CALL. Jonghyun deserved more.
