AHHH!! I went to the SuperM concert in Fairfax yesterday and it was awesome!!! Taemins danger solo was definitely one of my fav performances. The music was loud and it just felt so good to be there. It was so awesome and surreal to see in real life and I love taemin with all my heart. ❤️🥺

I saw his performance from Music Bank, and now that I watched the actual MV, I wish the MV director kept more shots of the choreo in rather than having so many individual shots because Taemin absolutely owns and kills the choreography. Hopefully they'll release a dance version of this song so that people can see the full extent of his dancing prowess. BUT I did really enjoy the song as well :) I liked the slight MJ vibe.

coming from guilty to this is so interesting because even almost 10 years ago, he’s been a solid performer. excellent vocals and dancing ability- truly a shining star, especially compared to a lot of his peers in the music industry.

In my opinion, SM's male groups, Shinee is the only one that can attract me with their songs, and Shinee songs were the best eventually in SM. So I always randomly search for Shinee songs because I rarely listen to male group songs.

Today's MusicBank was just perfect!!! Fanchants were like super loud then Taemin was all shy during the backstage interviews but was super hot during performance ripping off his necktie and jacket then Taemin wonnnnnnnnnnnnnnn and had this super super big smile on his face nd was dancing mamacita moves to Danger and he had this really big smile on his face when he left Music Bank I'm so happyyyyyy!!!! This is a fantastic show of Taemin's growth over the years. I think that it's important for viewers to remember that Taemin is still quite young and that he's beginning a completely new chapter as a solo artist. This leaves him an immense amount of room to grow and change he moves forward. As a first MV, this is a fairly excellent show of his all-around skill as an artist. Do I think it showcases the entirely of his talent as both a singer and a dancer? No, but his work with SHINee has long showcased his talents as a dancer and Ace, Pretty Boy and the live performances of Danger do an excellent job of reminding us what Taemin is passionate about. He is absolutely perfect for Ian's smooth choreography and it's such a treat to watch him perform it. (I would love to see more work between Ian Eastwood and Taemin in the future. They looked amazing working together.) In addition, Taemin's album already sounds like a solid piece of work and upon listening to Ace for the first time, I was blown away. Is there still room for improvement? Of course! This is his first time stepping out with only his own image to carry him forward. What's important to see in this video is it creates a stepping stone for Taemin to move forward as a singular artist with his own image, tastes and talents. There are arguments that he has been caught up in SM's company-politics which - while it may be true, fans of Taemin know that he has been interested in visual rock from both Japan and America for quite some time now. Personally, Taemin's solo work has me excited. I only hope that SM will continue to let him move forward without restricting his direction, because I can't wait to see where he goes and what personal explorations we get to see play out next. He has proven to have the ability to be anything and everything. We have seen Taemin show images of ethereal beauty, power, confidence, shyness, mystery, and determination - this ability to shift between expressions is CENTRAL to being a talented solo artist. Taemin certainly has grown and if he has proven anything over the years, he is aware of his short-comings and the criticisms spoken around him. It has only ever driven him to improve and work harder, so I look forward to seeing where all of this takes him next. In true solo fashion - bad or good, he has caught people's attention. :) My only criticism is that I hope he gives himself the room to grow and explore and does not limit himself to any one image. Taemin has an immense draw that is innately a part of who he is, that fans (and even non-fans) have been catching onto for years. If he can express this to his advantage, without it becoming gimmick-y, I see him going very far. I hope that he'll continue to strengthen his voice ('Ace' has given us an excellent taste of his vocal abilities and what future improvement could bring. I do think he needs to continue pushing himself vocally, but with time I can see his voice becoming very refined). It's clear to see that Taemin is young and does not have the full experience of commanding his own space at all times, but these are things that people learn through trial and error. I believe that this MV is a fairly steady piece of work for his step out as a solo artist and I am so excited to see where he goes from here. (SM, don't let him fall by the wayside! He has so much potential!) With his album as a whole - it's going to be on repeat for a long time and his voice, when used to its highest advantage, is simply angelic. Keep going, Taemin. Your fans love you and they're cheering you on. Show the world who you are!
