It said,” If you can survive, you must remember that I love you.” This cell phone was passing around from one hand to another. Every body that read the message wept. ” If you can survive, you must remember that I love you.” Such is the mother’s love for her child!!

Seriously, how can ppl be confused about the story? His mother died in an earthquake when he was a child, one day he accidentally meets a girl who looks like his mother so he started hanging around her a lot. Then the girl finds out that it's not *that* kind of love and it's actually just tao missed his mother. So she leaves in the end, but Tao's still happy that he met her because it was like he saw his mum again even for a short time.

SM really thought this one through. Amazingly beautiful song with amazingly beautiful actors. A heart wrenching storyline, sexy ask mofo Tao and beautifully pretty Victoria as leads, who both are amazing at acting.

The storyline is based on a true story of a selfless mother who protected her child throughout the 7.9 magnitude earthquake. When the mother was discovered by the rescuers, she had already died from the house that collapsed. However, the rescuer noticed her unusual posture, kneeling on the ground with both of her arms supporting her upper body. When people cleared away the rubble around her, they found her 3 to 4-month-old baby, wrapped in a blanket, sleeping soundly under her, still alive. After that, the rescuing doctor found a mobile phone inside the baby’s blanket and on the screen was a message that said: "My beloved baby, if you can survive, please remember that I love you." I first saw it on 9gag then after I watched this mv I recognize the storyline So I search it on wikipedia . And it was true . So for those who confused , here you go . ;)

This MV is talking about a mum save his son in a earthquake, but she died. That kid is Tao. When Tao grow up, he meet Vic occasionally, a girl who look like his mom. Tao cannot stop to pay attention on Vic and he getting closer to her. But still Vic find out that Tao like her just because she look as same as Tao's mum then she leave. Here we are in 2023 and I still remember this song. I listened to the song after my grandmother died in 2014.

The song is so beautiful and the story line is so sad. Especially at the end where you see Victoria shedding tears as she writes her last message, I broke down during that part.

Omg. Tears started falling, not even half way thro. I just kept leaking and it wouldn't stop omg. And the first comment on the video didn't help either. My heart. Tao looks sooo handsome. He's such a good actor too. He was so cool in this mv. Can they please turn this into a movie? I would watch the heck out of it.

SO basically Tao is the baby who, at the start of the video, is saved because his mum (Vic look-a-like) protected by hugging him. Tao who grows up didn't really have a great life with part time job and ramen, and everything he does reminds him of his mother. Then by chance he saved Vic who looks just like his mum, clearly he falls in love with her and gets rid of the gangster for her too. They get closer because of this but when Vic finds out why Tao likes her she seems to be shocked..? then it's flashback to his dad receiving the text message "I'm sorry I can't be by your side. Thank you, I love you. Later on, you must tell our son that mum really really loves him" A sort of hanging ending but such emotional storyline TT

I really don't understand why people dislikes this :'( It's such a beautiful and inspirit story of a mom sacrificing herself to her son... why hate it?...

For once i understand why SM delayed the release of this mv... Wow, first SM story based mv with no crappy, cheesy sound effects and corny horrible story line. I started to tear up from the 0.16 second mark, and LiYin's voice from 2.50 onwards really, really touched me. And from 4.00 onwards the storyline was just so heartbreaking i really cried. First time i cried by just watching a mv... Victoria's acting is really fantastic, like, when i was watching the mv i didn't think that she was Victoria, the despration in her eyes when she saved protected her child, how she msg-ed her husband....esp when she acts as the mother. the despration in her eyes when she protected her child, how she msg-ed her husband knowing she would die .... And to think these beautiful, brave acts really do happen, during the WenChuan earthquake a teacher spread his arms out to protect two children, they lived, but he passed away... they had to cut of his arms in order to get the children out....idk but a round of applause for the director, as the lyrics go perfectly well with the mv too *ugly sobbing*

I think that using Tao as an actor in Zhang Li Yin's MV was a very strong marketing move on SM's part, I know that a lot of people might not have watched the MV if Tao hadn't been in it. But, now that we've seen Tao act, we know that he's incredibly talented, and now that we've seen Zhang Li Yin sing, we know that SHE'S AMAZING. I love her voice and I'm so happy SM is using smart ways to market her new video! The video was very original and her voice is absolutely astonishing!! I love it and I can't wait to see more from her!!!!!

For those who don't understand So there was an earthquake in China long time ago where Victoria saved her son (Tao) and died because she protected him. Soon when Tao grew up, he saw a girl who looks exactly like his mum so he uses this opportunity to look after her as if she was his mum. They got together and all but then the girl found out that he only likes her because she looks like his mum so she left him :(
