The storyline is based on a true story of a selfless mother who protected her child throughout the 7.9 magnitude earthquake. When the mother was discovered by the rescuers, she had already died from the house that collapsed. However, the rescuer noticed her unusual posture, kneeling on the ground with both of her arms supporting her upper body. When people cleared away the rubble around her, they found her 3 to 4-month-old baby, wrapped in a blanket, sleeping soundly under her, still alive. After that, the rescuing doctor found a mobile phone inside the baby’s blanket and on the screen was a message that said: "My beloved baby, if you can survive, please remember that I love you." I first saw it on 9gag then after I watched this mv I recognize the storyline So I search it on wikipedia . And it was true . So for those who confused , here you go . ;)

The song is so beautiful and the story line is so sad. Especially at the end where you see Victoria shedding tears as she writes her last message, I broke down during that part.

I really don't understand why people dislikes this :'( It's such a beautiful and inspirit story of a mom sacrificing herself to her son... why hate it?...

I can't believe I legit started crying at the end. Like I started bawling and my friend asked me if I was ok. Mom, I miss you.

The most touching moment for me, came at the last few minutes of the MV when we see Vic and her son trapped beneath the rubble. As she lay dying she text her last message of her love to her son. The tears that came out of Vic's eyes made me tear up too. Zhang Liyin has the most beautiful voice and the acting by Tao and Victoria was wonderful. This is my tenth time watching this today, just perfect!

I am happy that Liyin is back to promote her angelic voice to the world once again! She has really improved through out her 5 year hiatus. I loved her voice in Breath and even love her voice more here! Tao and Victoria's acting was amazing, the way Tao portrayed his feelings towards Victoria and his mom was impressive! I hope Tao is able to get another acting deal maybe? To improve his acting skills c; I also hope SM promotes Liyin more! She really deserves this comeback.

For those who don't understand So there was an earthquake in China long time ago where Victoria saved her son (Tao) and died because she protected him. Soon when Tao grew up, he saw a girl who looks exactly like his mum so he uses this opportunity to look after her as if she was his mum. They got together and all but then the girl found out that he only likes her because she looks like his mum so she left him :(

I have been loving LiYin ever since Timeless, I Will and Moving On. This song.. gosh. She's blessed with an angel's voice. So beautiful it reminded me why I fell in love with her. I feel like Tao's character is drawn to Vic's character because of her resemblance to his dead mother, and feels a strong need to protect and care for her like his mother did for him as a child. Vic's character may have interpreted his gestures as romantic interest, but things get awkward once she discovers that she's just someone who looks like his mother. Hopefully there's a sequel so we don't get left hanging! Zhang Liyin's voice is perfect for this song and the message behind it. She wrote the lyrics herself, and meant for it to be a tribute to the victims of the 2008 earthquake in Sichuan. And can we all just take a moment to revel in Tao's emotional acting T___T SM you really have to give this boy more acting opportunities!
